By the by, thank you much for this site - it's got a pretty good selection of the styles I was after. :) Good times...

And I don't wear shorts above the knee... I feel very.... sporty 80s.... and that's no good.

I've been in that shop live a year ago. Nice range. Tho all the goth shops in Camden have quite indentical selection, only with different prices

I currently own this pair of New Rocks.

Yes, this exact pair! They're mine now.

That's why she was nominated to be a mod a while back. The other mods went to her wannabe-party and they saw her wardrobe, and it was unanimous after they saw the boots. I think maybe she had to bite someone too.

I keed, I keed!

You're very welcome, Sobeh :)

Oh, and I'm relieved to hear that you have succumbed to the scariness of super-short shorts in summer! ;)

I can post here a pic of my new rocks too. They're not nearly as nice as Wolfie's but I like them anyway.^^

Deviant Kitten 05-15-2006 02:10 PM

Ooh, I have to admit that they actually are the most beautiful boots ever, Eternity! I probably couldn't walk in them though, so I'll stick with my purple docs :D

end.of.eternity 05-17-2006 05:07 AM

Thanks Kit. But I'm sure you'd do great with those, and believe me, walking isn't hard at all. It just looks like it, because of the high heels~

Hey, does anyone know where i can go to find out if theres a shop nearby (preferably Huddersfield area in the UK) that sells New Rock shoes?

I'd love to try some on, they look pretty cool. I'd buy some online but ive never wore any shoes/boots like them before nevermind New rock so its too risky :(

Thanks :)

Cicero 05-19-2006 02:38 AM

You can try going here and browsing around the shops listed in your general area. Most gothic clothing stores in the UK will sell New Rocks, so just find the shops closest to you and check them out.

Back to the subject of delicious footwear, I want these.

I thought they sell them everywhere these days. When i bought my New Rocks there was only one shop in whole Finland that sold them. I was in London a year ago and I saw them everywhere. But oh well, I have no idea how far Huddersfield is from there... so I'll stay quiet! :|

maggot 05-19-2006 10:29 AM

Eh, I'm wondering how expensive (damn, what are they called? Transverters?) Those smexy shoes that have oh-so-many different configurations are in general. I'm gonna start looking for them on the net, but I wanna know the usual price so I don't end up spending more than I need to.

end.of.eternity 05-19-2006 11:58 PM

If you show a pic? Could get an idea of what shoes you're talking about. I found nothing by that name...

Cicero 05-20-2006 12:19 AM

Transmuters?

end.of.eternity 05-20-2006 01:25 AM

O yeah. Now I know what you're talking about. Dunno but I guess the general price runs somewhere in 100 euros if you buy them of artificial leather.

A very very long way away :) Huddersfield wouldnt even have a 1% of the amount of shops London has as well :)
And lets not forget London is one of the biggest gatherings of Asians and other cultures, and of the ones who are born and bred british, almost all of them are "chav's", "emo's" and "indie's", so all the shops cater to them :(
If there was a Goth shop in Huddersfield, it would probably be in the back streets behind all the major shops and stuff.

Thanks for that shop list, though its gonna take a while to check out those 114 websites hehe ;)

I could spend hours drooling at this site:

Malady 06-01-2006 04:00 PM

i love my heels, and i would wear them everyday, but they just kill my feet. . .:( so mainly i wear ballerina syle black flats. i used to have more shoe choices, but alot of them have gotten old and i'm broke. . .i did buy a pair or platform boots from a thrift store a couple weeks ago, but those are ALREADY peeling apart from the sole! (mental note: never buy boots from thrift stores. . .)

Solumina 06-02-2006 11:27 AM

you can buy them at thrift stores but just like everything else at a thrift store you have to really look at them to check out the quality and how much wear and tear they have sustained

They are great boots....except for one little thing, they are made for looks not confrbility.

I bought soe cheaply off ebay, and they were my size.....but after wearing themm for 4 hours....it hurts like hell. Buy thick socks if you are going to wear them.

end.of.eternity 06-12-2006 05:13 AM

There's absolutely NOTHING wrong with New Rocks! I'll post here pics of mine. New Rocks ARE absolutely beautiful!

disorder 06-12-2006 06:20 PM

I don't own any boots (:(), but here are my and my friend Laura's favourite shoes:
