I just got these awesome boots from a thrift store today. $3.00. They're made out of good leather, still shiny too. I like shiny things. They come up mid calf and tie all the way up. I them a lot. I am not into spending $100.00 on shoes. No thanks.
|
I say macks steal toe boots or combat boots yes? although my parents told me steal toe boots are horruble for your feet and are bad to walk in...so i cant get a pair ;(
|
Got a nice pair of purple Docs from a charity shop for £8. They're resistant to everything under the sun! Acid, Alkali, Petroleum products....
But I like my winklepickers best. Black over-ankle, six buckles each and no quick escape like zips or velcro as NewRocks often have. Pointy toes, and the buckles are shaped like little skull-and-scrossbones! http://www.underground-england.co.uk...ish_RockB.html it's the black leather 6 skull buckle boot. |
They're cool, I doubt my fat feet could ever fit such delicious looking shoes.
On the subject of flat shoes I borrowed a black patent pair of those dolly shoes that everyones wearing these days, but they hurt my feet so much, it was too painful to walk the next day. *sigh* I guess I'm noting without my heels. |
I got these --> http://www.underground-england.co.uk...R-7737-BLK.JPG boots delivered to me this friday. I've been waiting ages for them, but I can't wear them yet. Stupid summer weather.
|
Ooh I'm not a dancer or anything but I'd love a pair of red ballet shoes like the ones Kate Bush's video 'The Red Shoes'.
http://img127.imageshack.us/img127/2766/11111111ma2.jpg Ahh they're just so gorgeous! I have a pair of sparkly red ballet pumps, but they just don't compare! |
I'm a New Rock fangirl. Had mine since February - silver flame Reactors - and I wore them practically every day through school. Teachers never pestered me about them, they really impressed the younger kids (lmao), and they're uber comfy and warm. Need to send them away to be repaired though, as through constant use my feet have worn through the inner lining at the heel and big toe. >_>
I don't know much about lighter footwear though. I'd like to buy a pair of light gothy shoes I can use for when I've got loads of walking to do, like gothic trainers or something. Anyone suggest anything? |
My New Rocks are my firm favourites. Mine have got quite high heels which is ideal for me because I can't wear flat shoes & I'm a titch.
|
I have reinforced bunny slippers. They make me feel hardcore.

You need to post an intro before posting anywhere else. Please go & do that before you do anything else!

Hmm... Not really sure of the gothy-ness of meh boots... but they look just fine with EGL and ripped and torn skirts/dresses
I got these ones at the beginning of the summer for $2 at the Salvation Army in town... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...i/HPIM2519.jpg Annnndd I got these ones at Wal-Mart for $30 about three years ago... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...i/HPIM2522.jpg I like my shoes... they make me happy... |

These are quite similar to my boots, the only difference is that my boots have one leather strap insead of laces, no skull on the front, and a little bit of an arch. Same platform size though, wait, nevermind, my boots platforms are 5 inches. |
I was at hot topic the other day and ...jeez there stuff SUCKS are horruble quality everything...i laugh at hot topic buyers! and i saw like 3 mall goths in the mall.
|
|
Those are some sick boots.
|
I just wear a pair of 12 pound a shoe, GBX Elites. They work for me and i like them just fine.
@darkness-creepshow: I agree Hottopic does have horrible quality stuff. |
I shop at hot topic, *ducks as rocks are thrown at her head* but i have no toher place to go, really, lol. I mean, I live 60 miles from no where and my mom is thw only one that can drive, so yeah, Hot topic it is, I agree though, The stuff there isnt all that great.
anyway, shoes: I am currently wearing my chuck taylors, lol., They are comfy and were cheap (only like 25.00). I also have a pair of NaNa boots from HotTopic, 1) cause they were only 35.00 2) cause they are basic, buckley, tall gth boots. I added Pyramid studs to the buckles, so they are unique now, lol. ' I love the look of creepers. |
I looked at that Hot Topic link & the rest of the site. Some of the brands in there are sold in 'goth shops' throughout the uk.
If it was over here in England I'd certainly have a peep in there (not sure about parting with cash though). I did see some nice shoes on that site too :D |

Here's my favorite boot site. That's the New Rock section. New Rocks are commonly accepted as fairly gothy shoes, and as far as I can tell they're pretty good quality, too. |

Most New Rocks are too "busy" for me. There's about 3 or 4 styles that I like, but most just have too many buckles and too much going on for me. The Fantasy boots that Pennangalan sells, however, are awesome. :) |
.
I tend to favor less busy designs, i like the New Rocks but they just never grabbed me.
Current Boots: Jump Boots as you can NEVER go wrong with a pair of solid jump boots. Any army navy surplus store, usually under $100 used or about $100 new. Worth the cash as these just do not die no matter what you do to them. Only things I've had to do with mine are replace the inside padding every other year or so as i tend to wear them out a bit dancing/doing outdoorsey things. http://www.nexternal.com/armynavy/images/XC1585.gif Demonia Gravel 20's, as i just really like the higher cut boots and these are pretty http://www.vampfangs.com/shop/images/Gravel-20.jpg |
I personally wear for sneakers black Vans. Yes I know skater shoes, but they are comfortable and lasted a while. I have two sets of boots one is just a normal dress pair I guess you could say that I got from my step mother a while ago. The other pair are some really kick ass shoes. They're platform and go up a little past mid shin. They're wicked shiny and pretty. :) The brand for the boots is Torrid. They're not on the site though. I got them from a thrift store for about $3. :) Lucky me.
|
I got my big stompy boots from the Goodwill, too! They were $7. I saw them 3 years previously at Haute Topic for $50.
