I was gonna say that maybe he was just reporting statistics that can be explained like any other addiction rates - i.e. that strong social bonds make you less likely to become a fuck-up and that single moms-to-be are lacking in a major area of support... but reading his response... yeah, fuck that guy.

I agree. And I'm not one to keep my mouth shut when he says something that seems wrong, to me. Mostly this Psych class has been pretty forgettable and that's sad. I like Psych.

I helped give a presentation for the residence kids at my school about sexual assault, the centre and our services, and then make posters for our Take Back The Night march. I used to live in one of the dorms and its amazing how nothing changes.

They have a points system, by participating in presentations like that they get points. Apparently a certain dorm didn't even tell their kids what it was for, twenty of them came to the presentation, found out what it was, said "fuck that" and walked out. The organizer (Maybe an RA?) said it was probably for the best they left because that house is very much like a stereotypical frat boy club (we don't have fraternities or sororities here, I guess our dorm societies are the closest thing) so she could just imagine what they would draw on their posters.
