What is Oi!? Oi! is a working class street-level subgenre of punk rock from the UK, starting in the late 1970's . The music and associated subculture had the goal of promoting unity between punks and skinheads. It takes the playing style of first wave punk and mixes it with football style chants and is easy to sing along to. Personally I used to be big into it, but not so much anymore.
