HMRRRRRGGG There's a help page, but when I click on any subsection, it says the page can't be displayed :(

Does anyone know of a better brand of shoe that makes something similar?

Crying_Crimson_Tears 02-08-2008 05:54 PM

http://www.amazon.com/Clothes-Dank-1...521810&sr=1-49

My boyfriend is buying me these shoes. I like to go to Amazon sometimes and go to apparel then type in Goth, then I click on shoes. I actually get some good looking stuff.

Does anyone know where I can get a pair of boots, that have platform appeal (I.E: BUCKLES GALORE ALL THE WAY UP!) but without an actual platform? I'm 5'7", my boyfriend is 5'11", so I try to keep ANY kind of heel below 3". So... something that looks like platform boots, but with a flat sole (no heels either). Anyone? Did I even make sense? lol I've browsed the net time and time again, but whatever I find is 5"+ Or just plain lace up. :(

Hey, I'm 6", so if you happen to find some please tell me. Right now my boot of choice is Dr. Marten's 'cause it's the only flat boot I could find, especially for women.

Silvara 02-19-2008 11:42 PM

I found a pair on x-tra-x.de. But their 179.00 in EURO. So... DOUBLE THAT, and you have your price. Too much for me. lol I'll let you know if I come across any though. :)

Silvara 02-19-2008 11:45 PM

And luckily, I just found them on a different site. lol

rivithead_com - The REAPER-30 boots. I can't post links yet, so bare with me. lol

Pineapple_Juice 02-19-2008 11:57 PM

Indeed you are a GENIUS.

A while back I found a site that sold 7" heels that were similar to ballet point shoes... but with a heel. I can't decided whether of not to buy them for fear of not beign able to walk in them. Has anyone here ever worn a pair? I'm curious to know others opinions on the shoes.

Do you mean boots? Or Shoes? I have seen similar in both shoes and boots at various places but not sure if they would be the EXACT 3 1/2 and 1 inch, etc.

honeythorn 02-21-2008 07:08 AM

Both. But for boots they MUST be wide calf ( but not patent, plain black leather is good ) , by which I mean 20 inches wide.

Ok (second from bottom) is a bit higher but similar I think to what you are talking about

http://www.goodgoth.com/ladiesheels.htm

these boots are "Stretch" and made by Sketchers so you may be able to find a place to try them on first as opposed to ordering online to make sure the calf would fit... (VS is out of black anyway but I am sure being a common brand you could find a pair elsewhere).

then this....

http://www.osoyou.com/items/48613.publisha

(I had that bookmarked and could not figure out how to order it, maybe I am online shopping impaired?)

this is close in height to what you want

http://www.911buycostume.com/Pages/gogoboots/50B_LG.htm

that one that is one this page way down

http://www.911buycostume.com/Pages/gogoboots/boot02.htm

I have a friend that orders from them and they seem ok quality, not great or anything buy what you would expect from a $25 shoe, they didn't fall apart fast or anything.

Don't know if that is what you are thinking of or if it's totally something else you have in mind.

lady_corbin 02-29-2008 09:38 PM

All I want is a pair of granny boots with little or no heel..... ideas??

ApothoKeri 06-13-2008 10:39 AM

I am somehow really, really drawn to these in the black and the red...

http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/31173791/c/585.html

If only I had $200 for shoes.

TheBloodEternity 06-13-2008 11:37 AM

Silvara: Damn it, I was going to recommend that site to you!

But yeah I kind of need some new shoes. I can't afford boots though. Mine right now are grey slip ons with fishnet (with holes ripped in it, of course) overlay. They're duct-taped together, theres holes in the soles. I think I'm just going to go down to wal-mart, buy some cheap Vans rip-offs, and put my fishnet scraps over them, because I really like these shoes.

Opteron_Man 06-13-2008 01:44 PM

Doc Martins or combat boots are fine choices.
Both are good for ass kicking!

LaBelleDameSansMerci 06-13-2008 09:23 PM

I've said this elsewhere, but I want a pair of Stompy Boots of Doom.

I also need to get new sandal-heels.
