- Zero - I see it all the time, people download a song but don't take the time to research artists and haven't learned enough about a particular genre to care - most people hear "Tainted Love," think it's cool, and download it from some other dumbass who doesn't know anything about the song/genre, and the madness continues. People who think "Tainted Love" is by the Cure often aren't fans of the Cure, just the song (by Soft Cell). It's understandable to a certain extent. I have about 50 friends who think The Clash's "I Fought the Law" is by the Sex Pistols because they don't know much about punk rock. |
