Hmm, what would I like to buy?

Looks like it would cost maybe $30 to make, and that is using nicer fabric than in the pic, it is rather adorable but you really should learn to sew, you will save yourself a lot of money in the long run and a shirt like that isn't too complicated.

Ah yes. I was thinking of purchasing one without the claw part. That feline shall be avenged!

I jest not. *grins*

And Milord Whiskerton, please do not take offense. In truth I am not absolutely certain of the species, but the piece strongly resembles the cat skeletons I examined for Anatomy during my University days.

I've been eyeing this swampy little number on Etsy:

All mammal vertebrae are very, very similar. They could be cat vertebrae just as easily as *insert quadrupedal mammal a similar size to a cat here*. My guess is they weren't even cast from real vertebrae... something about the pointiness makes them seem a little exhaggerated.

Lord would that feel good in the August heat.

Actually, it's all the same skirt, just tied-up in different ways. It's just that awesome! =D

I've been looking for a good blazer.
Anyone know where I might explore some options?

vindicatedxjin 08-28-2009 12:33 PM

What kind of blazer????

New York & Company makes some nice ones, they tend to be rather classic but most have some details to give them a bit of personality.

Alternatively you can go to any upscale department store and ask an associate to help you out, I found Nordstrom to be especially helpful when exploring new articles of clothing.

I really like this jacket.

Pineapple_Juice 08-29-2009 12:18 AM

Ooh, me as well.

Ophelia, dunno if you're looking for something premade but I find all of my blazers at thrift stores and stitch them up in two minutes to fit.

A while back chicstar.com had some nice coats and blazers. Haven't checked in a while but there could be some good stuff there.

Yeah, I used to love NY&co but they aren't in my mall anymore, and after working in a mall I don't really like going to other malls, haha.

I'll have to check it out, though, just for the blazer.
What are their prices like these days?
