Death101 12-07-2005 05:46 AM

Throbbing Gristle, Coil, Ministry, Swarf Sisters, Midnight Configuration, Suspiria, Athamay, Non, Pretty Dead Girls, Sex Gang Children, Beki Bondage

rockandrose 12-07-2005 06:49 AM

Swarf Sisters? I haven't heard of that one.

Death101 12-14-2005 02:18 PM

I heard of the Swarf Sisters off of an album I have called Princess Gothica. The song on that compilation is G.O.A. - Gothic On Arrival. One album I know of from them is called Midwife Crisis.

i remember when i was younger i really really really loved led zeppelin now, i dont really listen to them but i still have a deep and great respect for their music. pinkfloyd was also one of the first bands i lsitened too, i really like the trippy music and the video of the wall was just superb.

Which_ones_Pink? 01-02-2006 11:54 AM

Hooray, I love these bands! I have all the Zeppelin albums, and need 3 more Floyd ones! Wish you were here is the best!

Ruhiel 01-02-2006 01:15 PM

Actually yeah, though the only Zeppelin album I have is the best of past and present, but it's great. I also have Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon, I've been looking for The Wall, but haven't found it yet.

Led Zeppelin is awesome. I like Deep Purple better though. Child in Time is still my alltime favorite song!

Underwater Ophelia 01-08-2006 05:20 PM

Ooh, I love Specimen. It's cool to see that most of you are fans of the old-school goth rock. Almost none of my friends are, they prefer industrial or cybergoth music.

MoonReaver 01-08-2006 05:54 PM

I understand you on that >.> Alot of my friends dont listen to the same music as i do...

WolfMoon 01-08-2006 09:31 PM

I've heard of them, too. I'm not sure if I've actually heard their music, but I know for a fact I have heard of them. What sort of music are they?

Hellhammer were the band that Tom G Warrior and Martin Ain (complete with amusing stage names) had going before Celtic Frost, they only had one record out `Apocalyptic Raids` which is still a big influence on bands in extreme metal today (mostly death metal and black metal ).

If you like Celtic Frost, there are two Hellhammer songs on `The best of Celtic Frost` compilation the tracks are `Messiah` and `Triumph of Death`.

Kreator are one of the best Thrash metal bands on the planet, if you like your music loud, heavy, fast, intense, and thrashing, this is the band for you !!!.

If you are curious about them, I reccomend the `Pleasure to Kill` album / CD. Or there is a best of compilation which is entitled `Scenarios of Violence`(Noise Records).

WolfMoon 01-10-2006 03:19 PM

They covered WHAT?

Be still my fucking heart!!! I'll be checking that out, danke shein!!!!
