I read a bit from that link that bloopie posted, and, from the little graphic of the fellow in devil horns onward, I was unimpressed.

One of the commandments stated that, when walking in "open country" or somesuch thing, do not bother anyone, and if someone bothers you to "destroy" them. All I was able to picture was a wretchedly skinny, black-clad 14 year old skulking through a high school hall mumbling about "destroying" the captain of the football team.

Satanism: it's not just for lonely, self deluding nerds anymore! Well, yes it is. Really.

Hence why *following* isn't a good thing,

Fair enough. I didn't mean to offend you. Please, for the love of Lucifer, put the lightsaber down.

I gathered. It's alright, I am too.

Haha, that's basically the point.

Agnostic and loving it. I think that Satanism was founded by a bunch of fed up school boys who were able to come up with a few really good ideas, but were still, in the end, just schoolboys. Yes, I know that's not the real story. I'm more a believer in karma

Satanism isn't an organized religion. It varies Satanist to Satanist. To answer your question, there are endless variations of Satanism.

Where as I do agree with quite a lot of what LaVey said in The Satanic Bible and I love reading Satan Speaks, I do believe in a living being known as Satan.

To explain my exact beliefs though would take some time, and I don't speak on my beliefs unless asked.

TiF - thank you for that one - I was starting to give up trying to point that out. Good to see a fellow theist here :)

raggedyanne 04-25-2007 11:37 PM

thanks, I'll look into that. From what I've gathered, it is to be interpreted by the believer.

ghettogoth69 04-25-2007 11:41 PM

satanists are scary.

MollyMac 04-25-2007 11:42 PM

The only scary things are those which you do not understand out of an honest ignorance or a willful ignorance.

ghettogoth69 04-25-2007 11:45 PM

I guess. but yeah

Minyaliel 04-27-2007 12:11 PM

BOOO!

.... did I scare you?

Anyway, you couldn't point out most Satanists on the street or in everyday situations anyway, so it'd be hard to be scared by us, really.
