ARE YOU PEOPLE STUPID?! RAP ISNT A BAND ITS A GENRE!!!!! |
I didn't make this thread, so insult the creator specifically....
|
Worse bands ever: Practically any band's that are on MTV and claim they are " Punk", "Goth", or "Rock". As for rap, I'm not into it, its boring to me.
|
I like Guns 'N Roses. My former bandmate wanted to be Slash...
I once liked Creed. I can't say I care for them much now, but I've never hated their music. I've hated other things about them, but not their music. Rap can be just as good as any other type of music. I've just never found any examples (but I can't say I've looked, either.) As much as some Goths like 80s music, I've never found room in my heart for much of it. I guess I might have to clear some of the furniture out of the way. |
I would have voted rap, but the poll was "worst band ever". Rap is a genre not a band... sorry if that's a bit technical... I'm a technical person. If you'd have said any rap group, that would have been my first choice. But, through heavy deliberation, I had to choose the infamous suckage Good Charlotte. Although I don't care for what Clay Aiken produces, he actually sings. Unlike any of the other given choices. Well, then there's Creed, but let's not forget that the lead singer had that breathing problem. Well, Guns N Roses was pretty much not there for me, given that I really couldn't pin it on one thing and I knew Good Charlotte was worse. *disclaimer, merely stating how I chose my final decision. These are opinions people, not the divine truth.

Yeah, maybe we should just create a thread insulting all those terrible rappers out there.....heh...Eminem, Snoop Dog......too many to list....
|
Just so everyone knows this, I have a friend named Clay Aiken who lives here in Irving.....
|
A thread of rap insult... I admit i'd have too much fun! I really hate rap, repetitive noise is thought of as "music", and repetitive meaningless words are coined as an umbrella term for their "lyrics". Talent? I think not! It aggrevates me that they can call themselves musicians and get so far, while I'm sure there are many real musicians out there with real talent who are getting nowhere because they lack 'connections'.
-_- |
"repetitive noise is thought of as "music", and repetitive meaningless words are coined as an umbrella term for their "lyrics""....and that just about sums up every type of music in the world.
As far as real musicians are concerned, I don't see you hyping up Miles or Monk or any other Jazz great. As far as "talent" is concerned, it's in the eye of the beholder. However, you complaining about rap reminds me of all those ELO fans who complained about the Ramones because they played too fast....nobody listened to them then and nobody (at least as far as music fans are concerned) would take you seriously now. |

I hate and despise Rap.
It's the worst thing ever. |
The worst band ever is a band that got started in higschool
in their parents garage, they played and played for hours and also they talked and dreamed about the day when they would strike it big and so the played and played yet musical ability and talent are not the same and so they did a few gigs at some crapy bars and they grew up and still talked and planed about their big break and they hoped and dreamed and now they are 60 years old and still in that same garage no one knows who they are, but we do... the worlds crappiest band. |
No rap music??? Not even Big Papa???
How ya livin' Biggie Smalls? In mansions and Benzes Givin' ends to my friends and it feels stupendous Tremendous cream Fuck a dollar and a dream Still tote gats strapped with infrared beams (what?) Choppin o's, smokin lye an' Optimo's Money hoes and clothes all a nigga knows A foolish pleasure, whatever I had to find the buried treasure, so grams I had to measure However, living better now, Gucci sweater now Drop top BM's I'm the man girlfriend Ooh... What flow. He was a poet. |
