Ya I wanna start wearing goggles when I striaghten my hair or cut it.

I got some army surplus goggles a few weeks ago for using to do metal work (honest...the fact they make a fabulous hairband was totally lost on me when I bought them...ahem) which are anti-laser goggles.

Not only do they look v. cool but they really truely cut out lasers, even at the source of the laser....they like magic...now you see laser, now you don't.

....ah its great being so easily pleased....

That's typically how most goggles are worn. They are a fashion accessory.

I been wearing them soley as a fashion accessory for far too long....I can't help but love the fact that now when mocked by chavs with the old

'wot yer wearin' them for'

I can smugly reply

'because I work with metal and I am rather fond of my little green peepers....now bugger off'

I misread the first sentence. It makes sense to me now. I originally thought that you meant you bought goggles that were used for metal work, not goggles that you bought to do metal work.
