As a former teen 'Bible thumper', I'm just gonna stop you there and say, no...not all teens f*ck or masturbate.

As a teen, I was terrified of my sexuality. I had never been sexually abused or anything, but neither did anyone explain it to me. So I didn't do anything sexual at all until I was in my late 20s.

I'm talking about nothing; no kissing, no heavy petting, no make-out sessions, no porn, no masturbation or sexual fantasies...nothing. [Hell, when I -did- start M-ing a couple of years ago, I felt horribly guilty for a while, and was sure the wrath of God was going to come down and smite me! Of course, it never did, but the very real fear was there.]

While it's true that some kids, even religious ones, are prone to it...I'd just like to join in here to say that it's not -all- kids, or even -all- adults; while it -is- a perfectly natural process, putting the fear of God and hell into someone can do a lot to freeze a person's libido.

Anyways, just wanted to put that in there, just to provide a very different perspective. :D

Sex is enjoyable. As long as people go about things the proper way (i.e. birth control, condoms, etc.) I see no reason why they should not partake in said enjoyable activity as often as they like.

Sex is not dirty. That's a puritanical line of thought that needs to die.

You are not a slut if you enjoy sex and engage in it often. You're a human being. (Unless you're in a committed relationship. Then you're a slag, regardless of your gender)

I agree. :) However, in my own case, I'm still perfectly happy waiting until I'm in a committed relationship at this point; I don't regret not having sex, and really I need my life to be as uncomplicated as possible; with as weird as I am just about my personal space in general...plus with all the diseases and chances for something to go wrong...I'd rather just not give Fate yet another chance to do me in the ass. ^^;;;

I actually think it's better to wait until college to have sex (not that I did, that's been broke).

I also think that their is nothing wrong with people having sex without commitment. I mean, teens shouldn't be doing that, but once you're an adult, hey...go for it. Just be safe.

Random make out for me is you at least were sort of friends with that person before hand, just not a romantic kind of relationship.
People can do what they want, they just don't need to be PROUD of being preconscious. It's not hard for a girl to find a guy to screw. It isn't an achievement.

Lord knows that all reminds me of the heady days of yore, when my early-teen friends & I were trying to luck out & catch a few seconds of clear signal thru Cinemax or the Playboy channel's scrambled signals when the teen sex comedies of then didn't suffice. Or when one of us (except, typically, me) got lucky & retold the adventure in the school cafeteria or after school.
Sex ed? VD? "What's all that?" we'd ask.
AIDS? Just making its ascent on the horizon.

Still, I sympathize with how blataant kids are these days. We were more discreet. Lord knows we knew better than to knock anybody up!

I remember a few years ago driving to my folks' house & stopping at a redlight. While waiting for the green I see a young couple at a bus stop making out like no tomorrow. What made it disturbing was that they appeared to be all of, oh I dunno, EIGHT YEARS OLD!!!

And they wonder why we have so many teenage single moms around here?...
