Oh good, I'm a little sister (youngest of 5) and bugging people seems to come naturally and is something I can't (won't?) recognize in myself usually =)

No, the facial hair isn't what threw me off. I think I'm used to him more with the longer, slicker looking hair.

MY SOUP MUG HAS ARRIVED! Yayyyy! : D I went to Doodlepots when I was in Whitby, you can paint your own pottery. Just pick a piece ( mugs, plates, teapots, egg cups, plaques ect ect ) and paint it with the glazes and they fire it for you. Then you collect it a few days later, or they can post it to you. Mine arrived in the post today and it is fucking splendid. I spent nearly 2 hours painting it!

Here's one side. I painted 3 bettas and an apple snail on it ^___^

How completely charming!

honeythorn 11-20-2009 10:32 AM

I can't wait to go back next year. I'll do a plate next time I think.

Solumina 11-20-2009 12:04 PM

That mug is absolutely adorable, I'm quite impresses.

I_Zik 11-20-2009 10:27 PM

I'd eat soup out of a mug like that. Although...I usually drink coffee in soup mugs. Pretty good painting Ophelia

Bäcker has finally woken up from his coma. Words cannot readily describe what I'm feeling right now.

Corpsey 11-21-2009 03:28 AM

Is that your friend that had a nervous break-down?

If so, that is fantastic news.

Still Jack 11-21-2009 03:39 AM

No, that's Frank, Bäcker is the one with cancer that had a nasty car accident. I'm so fucking happy right now...

Corpsey 11-21-2009 03:44 AM

That's even better news. Damn glad to hear it.

honeythorn 11-21-2009 04:06 AM

That's fantastic Jack.

Lord Whiskerton 11-21-2009 07:18 AM

Congratulations! I hope you do not mind me asking, but how long has he been in that coma?

honeythorn 11-21-2009 02:39 PM

I just got back from taking my 15 year old neice to see that fucking Twilight film. Jesus fucking christ on a rollercoaster. NO. Just..NO. Fucking sparkly moping about and muscular werewolf people being all "manly" and fucking red contacts! Arrgh! Peter Murphy isn't in it by the way, I was bloody watching out for that. I need a lie down >.<

It's been a month...

Mir 11-21-2009 05:04 PM

Time to pull the plug.

Solumina 11-21-2009 06:15 PM

Well yes, he came out of the coma, generally that means they can pull the plug.

I do hope he continues to improve.

You are, honestly, the most self-sacrificing and generous aunt in the world. I don't think I could have done it. And the fact that you came through it without a brain aneurysm is testament to what I can only consider superhuman strength.

the-nihilist 11-21-2009 10:07 PM

If you really want to see something awful just watch "Lady In the Water." I think that movie was worthy of Mystery Science Theater 3000.

Lord Whiskerton 11-22-2009 08:38 AM

The Fashion section of the forums have been bombarded with porn spam.

Ophelia's Snorkel 11-22-2009 09:14 AM

Groan. It wouldn't be so bad if the porn were actually appealing.

Jointed Snarls Transform 11-22-2009 11:34 AM

How does one not find black latin asian white scat incest mpreg young girl hentai appealing?

Sick, sick world.

Ophelia's Snorkel 11-22-2009 11:46 AM

I'm afraid I just expect something a little less run-of-the-mill than that, Snarls. Call me jaded, I guess.

honeythorn 11-22-2009 02:58 PM

*sips tea and combs hair*.............I'm bored.

the-nihilist 11-22-2009 03:21 PM

What are you going to do about it?

honeythorn 11-22-2009 03:27 PM

Since it's half eleven at night and I have to get up at 5.30 tomorrow, not a great deal.
