Faulty logic. If McDonald's was so hot, they'd have other restaurants selling their burgers. And if you check the measurable standards, Apple is successful by any metric.

I have resisted having any Apple product (even an iPod) due to the sheep-like attitude of the cult of Jobs members and the lack of significant constructive criticism in the culture. But I would never say that they aren't making a decent product or that they aren't brilliant marketers of those products.

They made what pretty much every other major electronics manufacturer could have made. All they did that was different was served it up in brushed aluminium and white plastic.

I have an iPod, it was a present, and a pretty decent one at that.
However I'm a total faggit and run Linux.

Windows has always varied from second to third rate operating systems and the Mac OS only ever run on apple hardware. I agree wit Mir. Linux will run on pretty much anything stably.
