I have considered re-opening under a somewhat different plan - selling my own designs and crafts instead of selling Lip Service, Shrine, Jeannie Nitro, etc - and on a smaller scale. I am thinking about having a booth at Convergence in April, just to see if people would be interested in my designs.

Well, if it helps I will be getting 500 watt photo flood lights soon (for portraits and what not), so with a white fill card and white sheet background material (which shouldn't be hard to get), I could do product pictures and such.

And I'm an advanced photoshop user (thanks to my teacher and biggest artistic influence).

Just let me know if you make any decisions on anything. I enjoy photography and it would be a way of advertising my skills to the public.

Thank you. I will seriously keep that in mind. Bright lights are essential for photographing black clothes. I always had to photograph outside in direct sunlight in order to have enough light to show the detail on the clothes. Wearing velvet in June in North Carolina... ugh, that was horrible!

A similar thing happened to my aunt. Her husband was a traveling salesman who did more on his travels than just sell. I am happy to say she is no longer married to that jerk, but unfortunately she still has residual health problems.
