There doesn't seem to be a place to post pictures of pets, so instead of hijacking the Pictures thread every so often, I thought I'd make a thread. If this is not wanted, feel free to delete it.

This is a good idea creating this thread.
WOW, Charlotte is scary. (I'm afraid of spiders) She/he is so furry! I have quite a lot of fish in my backyard and a dog. I'll post some pictures of them in the future. |
I used to hold Charlotte a lot when I first got her; she was friendly. Now, not so much. Yesterday I tried to pick her up but she reared and threatened me with her fangs out. Now she is a "no touch" pet, heh.

I've had her for about a year. She hasn't grown much, so I guess that means I didn't get her very young.

And this is a picture of Opie and Mandy together. Opie was Mandy's half brother and died quite a few years ago (The only reason Opie died at 18 [instead of 21 which is how old mandy was] was because he was mis-diagnosed.). Opie was by far the friendliest and happiest cat I've ever known.

This is Pepsi, my Yorkshire Terrier. She's going to be eight next year. Since I moved out of my mother's house I've hardly seen her. I really wish I could have her here, but it didn't seem fair to separate her from mum and Coco; mum's dog. I do have two cats now though; Dandelion and Burdock. I'm praying for a digital camera for Christmas, so maybe come December 26th, I'll have pictures of them to post on here. |
There seem to be a lot of cat people on the board. I'm sure this statement will go over like a lead balloon, but I'm not terribly fond of cats. I'm a dog person.

I've had people ask, "You didn't have her ears cropped?" I really want to throttle them for even suggesting that I would inflict that cruelty on my dog... but my perverse nature demands that sometimes I reply, "Yes, they were cropped. You should have seen how big they were before." (In a voice dripping with sarcasm, of course.)
Bella is a Chihuahua? And how about Angus? Looks like maybe Jack Russell Terrier, but it's hard to tell with puppies. Whatever breed he is, he's absolutely adorable. Puppies turn me into mushy goo. |

I was thinking Jack Russell because Angus has long legs, and his head doesn't seem to have the Chihuahua apple shape... but it really is hard to tell with puppies. They all start out looking more or less alike, no matter what the breed.
Many people think Bean Sidhe is a Chihuahua. A few years ago when Taco Bell was doing the Chihuahua commercials, we got "Yo quiero Taco Bell" comments ALL the time. |
I've never been a dog person. I love cats, but I like bugs even better. I've had a few praying mantids and will hopefully get another soon. It's too bad that they only live for a year.

I'm not so fond of being affectionate towards domestic cats, although occasionally I find myself mesmerised by their eyes, such as Mortalita's cat, who has interesting cat eyes.
That being said, I absolutely adore wild cats such as tigers and leopards. I think they are one of the most beautiful creatures in this world. |
Wild cats are awesome. I especially like cheetahs... absolutely phenomenal animals. And tres goth with their black "eyeliner."
The National Zoo has a Giant Panda cub that will be going on public display soon. They're giving out tickets with a time limit so everyone can line up for hours to gawk at him. It's crazy. I really don't see the appeal - pandas just sit there and do NOTHING. When the cheetah had four cubs, though, I made a special trip to see those little guys. :D |

Cheetahs are gorgeous too.
I first feel in love with wild cats when I was in primary, where I first saw two beautiful 'snow leopards' at a zoo. That being said, snow leopards and snow tigers are incredibly ravishing! How old is Percy? |

Mimi gave birth to kittens (i can't tell the black and white ones apart but the ginger cat is called Charlie,i named him after this clown machine that gave out wee eggs with little toys in when you put money in that i loved when i was little)
