What do you wear when you go out?
What do y'all wear when you go out? I usually pale my face out with powder, do my black eyeliner with gray under my eyes (very faintly, people say it makes me look creepy and exhausted when I use the right shade of grey and get it just right on the application), wear my dark fitted jeans, combat boots, a black button down, torn up stockings on my hands and arms worn like gloves, and my studded wrist cuff. People say I end up looking like a vampire. I do want to find a black vest at some point....but I would need money for that :rollseyes: and that is one thing I ain't got. Sometimes I'll wear a black t shirt and my spiked collar and punk it up a bit when it is a more casual thing and I am not trying to look so nice. Anyway, that is just me.

Depends what you mean by out.
If I'm going into the city shopping/browsing, then it's usually a long velvet skirt, DIY band vest top like my Sex Gang Children one, or just a plain black vest top. Under the top of choice ( if it has straps ) I wear a pair of ripped up tights as a top. Boots, big hair, black velvet frock coat if it's cold. Jewllery. On a night out, it depends where I'm going. I don't know any other goths at all. All my friends like to go to your average town bars and clubs, so I invariably end up there. In this case I usually end up in a tight pinstripe knee length skirt and some velvet top or other that I have lurking about in the wardrobe + heels , or a pair of fitted black jeans with a short, black low cut velvet dress over the top, with the tights as a top underneath + boots. Jewellery. Makeup in terms of eyeshadow varies greatly but eyeliner is always paramount, and designs also depend on what I can be bothered to do. |
When I am going out, I wear my black pants with polished combat boots and a black or (rarely) red t-shirt. I lighten my face and put black eyeliner around my eyes. But wether I am indoors alone or out and about I allways wear my collar. I took some new pix of me.

My typically outfit is a white blouse under a overbust cheap TRIPP NYC corset (de-boned - no one likes plastic now). Then I wear this knee length skirt that is pleated all the way around. It's kind of a weird material and its from Japan so I couldn't saw what it is. Then I wear tights (which are getting holes now and then my knee high Demonia lace-up boots. I put on a lot of jewlery and wear lace gloves. I hardly ever have my hands naked.

My usual clubbing outfits involve whatever I've made or altered recently. I try never to repeat the same exact outfit twice, and make the most effort when going to the places that play the best music, haha.
Anyway the usual ensemble involves a lot of ripped fishnets or other fishnet-y items/interesting tights, a DIY-ed band shirt, a short skirt, a lot of jewellery and bones around the place, one or two belts, and boots. Also quite a bit of makeup - mainly foundation, eyeshadow and Egyptian-ish eyeliner. And deathhawk up. |
Lately, it's been black skinny jeans, combat boots, plain white tee or plain black tee, then my modded out patched up black blazer jacket.

a pair of black cotton short shorts with black stockings, a fitted black shirt with three quater length sleeves, a spiked collar (which i had to take off partway through the evening so i could mosh without killing anyone) black trainers, my silver sword pendant and black eyliner done in cat flicks,to the m.s.i gig in yeovil(which way awsome by the way) |
I usually just wear whatever I had on for school. Mainly, it's either my black blouse, or pinstripe blouse, jacket (which I fear is getting holes in... I need to sew it up), plain gray or black stockings--stripeys if I have them--boots, a single studded bracelet, eyeliner, a black ribbon choker, my cameo, and a plain black skirt of some kind. Nothing fancy or awesome-looking.
Oh, and my fishnet shirt, which I wear beneath the blouse. *mutter, mutter* I need to get myself some good corsets... |

I usually have on silver spiked choker, black tripps with d rings and fake skull handcuff, my black studded thermal hoodie and black converses, and black nail polish ofcourse, and just to freak people out, spiked bracelet and blackout contacts with fangs.
But I lost my contacts and fangs though, so sad. |
When I go out, it really depends on my mood. Most of the times I've gone skating I've wound up wearing my black leggings, denim or black, pleated miniskirt, and alternated between tank tops and random t-shirts (the last one I wore was a black one that said "Be my Valentine" in hot pink and that was two weeks ago.)
I don't fall a lot, so it's all good. |

My outfits vary from place to place; at church, I wear as close to "normal" clothes as I can get, (I don't need to be giving old ladies heart attacks, according to the 'rents) at school, I wear whatever I feel like wearing that day, (We have a dress code, but it's rarely enforced) the same goes for everywhere else. The weather also has an influence on my clothing. |

My look varies greatly depending on what im doing.
If im hanging out i throw on a pair of black pants, band T, and black shoes. My makeup is optional. If im going out shopping ill wear my diy short layered skirt with fish nets, boots, and furry leg warmers with a black top and corset.(my makeup is intense) If im going to a concert or something. Ill wear my pleaded skirt with fish nets and ripped tights on top. By boots with the furry leg warmers. My diy black shirt with my corset. My hair ill wear my dread falls and makeup is usually intense. So yeah thats what i wear. |

Um, I wear my typical faded black jeans, Doc Martins, black tee, and a black zippered hoddie. Does make-up count? Well I wear a neat black eyeliner and sloppy black nailpolish.

I like to dress up when I go out. I have a lot of neat clothes, so yea. I usually wear crazy colors, skirts, dresses, and usually my leggings.

It really depends on my mood that day and whom I'm with. I tend to not do as much übergothy stuff when I'm with my "normal" friends, for instance; a classic there is either my favourite knee- length black lace skirt and a simple black top, some kind of funky hairdo and my usual everyday make-up (I use _a lot_ of make-up) or black pants and one of my DIY tops. If I'm going to something a bit out of the ordinary, like if there actually happens to be a goth arrangement (a rare occasion) in my city, I'll get my corsets out as quickly as possible. I've got a few photos from various occasions, if anyone's interested...

It varies quite a bit for me. If I'm going to a nice restaurant, or am simply in a dressy mood, I'll wear a skirt, leggings (usually black, gray, white, or striped), a lovely frilly top or blouse, combat boots, a studded bracelet, a black ribbon choker, fishnet, and a cameo. Oh, a jacket, too (providing it's not too hot out).
But for the most part, it's usually just a pair of nice dark jeans, a decent top, boots, my bracelet, choker and cameo, and that's about it. Eyeliner... I forgot to mention that, too. I never go anywhere without it on. |
I usually just wear jeans and a t-shirt. At the moment the shirts generally have the sleeves cut off and are rather worse for wear, because it's summer and I don't really care how trashy I end up looking.

I went to the symphony this past Thursday night, and I wore my prom dress (see pictures in the picture thread), a white boa, and a tiara.

I use to make almost all of my own clothes, but since I joined the military, I have no space for scraps or a sewing machine. I still sew on occasion, but it's usually when people make rank and what not. typically these days, I go out in just a plain black t-shirt, shorts and a hoodie.
