weight loss

Not really fashion but vanity related never the less. I have a question, I know that when you lose weight your breast size goes down as well. Is 8 pounds (loss) enough to make you breasts significantly smaller?

lostintranslation 06-04-2008 02:54 PM

It can be. There really isn't an amount at which you start losing fat from your breasts, everyone is different. I have a friend who always loses her boobs first. If you've ever lost weight, intentionally, in the past, your body will most likely take fat from the same areas.

Crying_Crimson_Tears 06-04-2008 02:59 PM

My breasts went down about half an inch when I lost 6 pounds. But it's different for everybody. You might not lose any if your breasts are naturally small already.

Graveyard.Crow 06-04-2008 06:01 PM

They are :( that's why it's very important that I don't lose anymore because then I shall look even more like a 12 year old boy naked. YAAAY

honeythorn 06-04-2008 06:23 PM

I have a strong suspicion mine will deflate into sad empty skin bags after I've lost the 100lbs I need to lose :( :( :(

Miss Cogs 06-04-2008 06:45 PM

Mine went down a cup size after I lost 20 ibs. It may vary for the person.

Barfing_Rat 06-04-2008 07:18 PM

I wonder how many guys with manboobs are reading this thread.

Graveyard.Crow 06-04-2008 07:51 PM

sigh
the joys and sorrows of being a woman

I used to have those! As of today, I've lost 95 pounds, down to 190 and I will stay there. I've been working more, and began lifting weights to regain my arm strength.

Valrys 06-05-2008 11:21 AM

I'm around 200 pounds, and I mjust say, I have a rather nice pair of man boobs.

Or so I'm told, people like feeling them anyway >.>

weepingblood 06-05-2008 11:24 AM

Haha I have very small breasts. But I like them, I can wear revealing clothes without looking like a hoe.

GC if you're breasts are small then I don't think you need to lose weight, they are the first place you put excess weight on so you are probably fine.

badteccy 06-05-2008 03:10 PM

I thought this was gonna be a good thread about healthy weight loss tips, instead (of course, Graveyard Crow), it's about losing breasts sizes...sheesh.

Graveyard.Crow 06-05-2008 04:09 PM

Well this is just something I was wondering, so shoot me.
weepingblood
That doesn't make any sense. I don't need to lose weight if my breasts are small? what about other body parts

Underwater Ophelia 06-05-2008 04:14 PM

Crow, you can take some of my tits.
I'm sick of them and their stupid bouncing and stupid being in the way.

I'll take SOME xD

korinna5555 06-05-2008 04:43 PM

GC, please feel free to take some of mine as well..

I'd adore nice little C cups.. though, if I were to give you most of my boobage, Justin would probably hunt you down so he could have his pillows back. He is rather possessive of HIS pillows.. XD

I wouldn't go bigger than B's or something like that, Idon't like big boobs either, but I don't want tiny ones :(
If only it was a choice mang

lostintranslation 06-05-2008 04:56 PM

Oh man korinna, you just made me laugh and be sad. "Nice little C cups". I've finally filled out an A cup. And I was so proud of myself...

Crow-I know that, for most women, when you gain weight, you boobs tend to get bigger, and the opposite happens when you lose. Only reason I even filled an A is because I gained a few pounds, and my boobs received a bit. I'm wanting to lose the weight again simply because certain parts of my body are now larger than my liking (not boobs), but I'll miss my slightly bigger than normal for me boobs. haha.

Graveyard.Crow 06-05-2008 04:58 PM

Sigh
Well I just don't think I even have enough boobs to lose anything, so we shall see I suppose if being skinny is worth it.

Underwater Ophelia 06-05-2008 05:04 PM

I've just graduated to DD and it makes me sad.
Normally it'd be cool, but they don't seem proportional.

lostintranslation 06-05-2008 05:07 PM

Grow boobies grow!!

My boobies have failed.

It's nice to know I'm not the only one who celebrates filling out an A-cup. LOL!!!

Graveyard.Crow 06-05-2008 05:14 PM

You aren't:( I'm there with you guys, unfortunatly.

Zenit 06-06-2008 10:40 AM

Same here. And since I've been sick lately, they don't even fill out an A anymore...

Underwater Ophelia 06-06-2008 11:13 AM

You haven't been around for a while.

GothicChristian 06-06-2008 11:16 AM

Hmm... perhaps I'm odd, I lost 30 lbs last summer, and I didn't lose any breast at all, in fact, they grew. (I went from a B cup to a C cup)

Maybe if I lose more weight this summer, they'll get smaller. I don't like the fact that everything I've considered buying in the lines of shirts is made for people who are lacking in the breast department. =|

That's because breasts aren't 100% fat. They're made from fat, collagen, elastin, and Cooper's ligaments. If you are genetically predisposed to large breasts, you could have a very low body fat, and still have high amounts of collagen, elastin, and Cooper's ligaments(which dictate shape and size primarily).
So to Alissa's original question, if you naturally are small then weight change won't impact as much. There are hundreds of creams and pills and all sorts of other garbage claiming that they can make them grow. Honestly though, I've seen enough pictures of you (here and on facebook) to say you look fine the way you are. Yer gorgeous, just remember that.

korinna5555 06-06-2008 07:06 PM

I am finally fine with my body image, but I hate how I have to wear shirts that are two/three sizes bigger because of my goddamn tits. I have a 30" waist that is always completely hidden by my nearly 44" chest. They don't even make my bra size in normal (department) stores.. if I still wore bras, I'd have to special order.
It's impossible to find shirts that are fitted in the waist but don't do this (or at least make me feel like it):

I can't stand being stared at when it comes to boobs. Stare all you want at my fishnets or combat boots, but I have panic attacks when people gawk at my body like my tits are everything. If I was able to buy clothing that made my hourglass figure look fabulous.. it would be different. But until I can buy clothes designed for hourglass shapes, or afford custom tailoring.. it's baggy shirts for me. /rant
