once, until I realized.. what the fuck was it gonna do?! NADA! It just made me feel stupid=.=

Then I had friends who did it.. one Did it all the time.. I was like..why?
(They don't do it anymore, cus me and my other friend just pointing out so ridiculous is was)

I cut my finger open once pretty bad with a chef's knife. I was chopping vegetables and my hand slipped. I was also crying too, since the vegetable I was chopping was onions.

We actually have closer to a dozen threads concerning cutting and self-mutilation. Many more if we broaden the scope of our survey to include topics about self-destructive behavior in general. And I think that's more than enough, alredy!

The answer is a troll. It is far easier to get rid of a spammer. Why just this morning I selected 5 posts by the latest spammer and issued 5 infractions AND reported the 5 posts to the admin. I expect those will get cleaned up soon enough. Unless a troll does something that breaks the rules, you can't report them for having an obnoxious opinion or being bothersome. So they're harder to get rid of.

Although, on occasion, they can be rather amusing. But I've said enough already.

Why are so many people cutting these days? I might kind of understand. Maybe it is a stress related issue. Always thought it was more about family, neglect and being placed into an unflattering role through society, but maybe it's more.

It's not that there are more people cutting, it's just that it somehow turned into something popular and got more exposure. The Internet isn't exactly helping curbing it either since fashion-depressed (as I like to call it) girls sees on a picture site or facebook, or whatever, that one girl has put up pictures of it and then ofcourse THEY have to do the same to be just as cool and depressed (in that spiffy "No one understands me!"-teenage angsty fashion) and the wheel keeps on turning...

I don't get cutting. Mostly because there's less painful methods to deal with life, including suicide (in terms of your death method).

ART, I certainly understand THAT. I have little sympathy or understanding for cutters, but the ones who post comments on the internet about how they can't help cutting used to just annoy me with their need for attention. Fortunately, I am now serenely sanguine with telling them, "Hey buddy, just keep on cutting. I'm going to go read a good book."
