I was born with a hole in my heart to for the lack of tissue on it but eventually it closed up.

Wow. I didn't know bubble rings were possible. I'm still not sure I believe it, even though I found a website explaining it.

I can't really think of anything made my day worse, other than the fact that I can... I don't remember what I was going to say.

Babybat has a fascination with them, and they are harmless and bring joy to people.

I'm in a pretty dark place at the moment, so anything that brings in the sun is good.

being bored for 2 hours thinking I'd done all my homework, since I'd lost my planner.

Finding out that I have to get up at 5:30 instead of 6:30 from now on because getting to school at 8:30 instead of 8:35 is VERY important appearently.
So I am going to be there at 7:35 now =)

My boyfriend has gone back to Denmark and I won't get to see him for another 2 months, and my 8 year old rabbit has mild pneumonia :(

8! I didn't know rabbits live that long. I know guinea pigs usually live from 3-5. Hope the bunny gets better. :)

Annoying people who do the purchasing at work have made my day worse again. They ignore half the stuff that I list for them to send us because... you know... we need it, and we're out of it. Nevertheless, it doesn't show up on the list of stuff we're supposed to get at some point (some of which have been on there for almost a year), and it doesn't show up at the store... *sigh* And they wonder why they get complaints about us being out of stock, and they blame it on us, despite the fact that I alone (and I only order the paint tubes) send them 5 or 6 pages of stuff we need every week.

*shrug* Oh well. I'm going to have soup, bratwurst and Hofbräu Oktoberfestbier for supper. :)

Thanks, You really didn't think they lived that long? They live well past that O.o My last one lived to be 13 and my grandma had one that was nearly 18 when he died . I remember when I was little he was still alive, he was a scraggly black one that was really nervous.

I had two guinea pigs who lived to 6, and that's quite long for guinea pigs.

Continously wandering around, unmotivated and ENGULFED in procrastination. I've been looking for something to do all day (and acting as if I'm ready to go) and still nothing. Of course it's just partially my fault.

Speaking of Gulf, I noticed Gnet never had any rants about the oil spill that tainted the other half of my state's waters. Where my mind goes...

It not really a rant its more like news, then again does piss me off how the whole thing started.

Well it was definetly deserving of it's own thread and (with that said) arguments. Would have loved to put my two cents of how much FUN it was not be able to go to the beach for two months or eating sea food. I actually hate sea food so it's all good.
Maybe life isn't that bad. ;-)

I took a nap yesterday, and when I woke up, I was in incredible pain. I thought I slept on it in a weird way, but it hasn't stopped.

No, haven't seen a doctor yet because I just got a new job and my insurance isn't settled. Also, I don't like to run to the doctor right away unless there's a serious emergency.

I used to be like that about the doctor at one point. Then I found out how fast he cured my sinus infection that I thought was a bad tooth. Now I go to the doctor if there is any sort of doubt about my health. Not including a runny nose or upset stomach of course.

Well this says to me that you may indeed have slept on it awkwardly or even twisted it in your sleep somehow . If it was fine before the nap and agony after, it's the only real explanation. Other than perhaps putting ice on it for as long as you can bear and keeping movement of it to a minimum as best you can and taking painkillers, there's not much to be done until you can see a doctor.

One of my man-friends is in jail for the weekend, one of them is busy recording with his band, and the other one has to work. Damn it.. lonely weekend.. :(

I ate a "chicago" style hotdog for lunch today...and made me horribly sick. DON'T eat hotdogs from Texas. Unless it's a coney from sonic.

Finding out I have to share my laptop with Mr Bat. Three laptops in the batcave and only one works.

Finding out at the end of the day that my water had that weird "chocolate" taste because it was mixed with some old coffee stuck in the cup...

My dad went to the ER last night and no one will tell me why.

Nope, hospitals don't have to tell you shit unless you have PoA, even spouses aren't privileged. The only time this wouldn’t be true is if the patient is unconscious because next of kin would then have PoA by default. Doctor patient confidentiality is taken rather seriously.

It still sucks that your dad is in the hospital and you don’t know what is going on, hopefully it is one of those things where there is a really small chance of something being really wrong but most likely it is nothing major and people just don't want you to worry, which almost always actually ends up causing loads of worry in and of itself but well people don't seem to think that through.

it could be deferred pain from your spine. I had a similar problem when I was pregnant. I couldn't sleep on my back, because of the baby, and couldn't sleep on either side because my upper spine had 'frozen'.

Ended up sleeping for about 2hrs a night and spent most of my night crying because all i could take was panadol and they did nothing for the pain.

I went to an osteopath (sp?) and they fixed it up for me.

Okay, I finished babysitting at 2:45, went to the bar, went to the after-hours party, and went home with my friend Dave, who begged me to let him be a man toy.

I upset myself wanting to go right back to bed after my shower, but knowing that if I did I wouldn't get out of it and would end up calling in sick on the first day of work after a vacation >.<. Got a hug from my man and managed to stay standing up (floor looked about as good as the bed), and went to work.
Rest of the day wasn't too bad. Felt better as the day went on, especially after a pb sandwich.

I got outbid by £7 on a vintage Raleigh Caprice bike that I REALLY wanted very very much :(

I was supposed to be done babysitting at 12 last night. I was there until after 2am.
It put me in a pissy mood, I went to bed, woke up, and I'm still in a pissy mood.

I feel like stepped on dog shit on the side walk. I dont even know why I try or bother.

The company's owner's son (hereafter known as The Heir) came and tried to make us take off my awesome pumpkin design off the windows in favour of some shitty, ugly signs to advertise a random sale we're having. I made such a fuss that he said "Ok, fine, you can use different windows for the signs."

Boss told me he noticed I was gaining weight.
Oh rly. Well maybe you should keep that brilliant deduction to yerself.

Also, just realized the burritos I've been eating two and three of practically every day have more sodium in each one than I'm supposed to have ALL DAY.

:S We're hardwired to like salt. It's hard to avoid. Processed/preprepared foods are terrible for that.
That's why I have alfredo every couple weeks, which consists of 3 kinds of fat... >.<

Depending on one's starting weight, gaining isn't so bad (this coming from someone who looks at more images that are 100+ years old than ones that are 50 or less). Doing so healthily is key, though.

I wish I could gain some weight... I'm jealous of the Bouguereau girls with their healthy bottoms... I find them to have my favourite womanly proportions. I just don't have the stomach (physically or mentally) to get there.

I was in a healthy weight range before and I'm still in a healthy range now, but I carry my weight in shitty places like my arms and my fat saddlebag thighs. So it's no bueno.

Have you only been trying to eat your way fatter or have you been exercising?

I went around to inlaws for lunch which was nice.. had chocolate birthday cake for dessert and then I had a coffee.. now I want to throw up. I feel sick.

I probably don't exercise enough, but I do walk vigourously to and from the bus every work day. I don't have the energy to exercise :( I've got some illness that makes me tired and weak and muscle-burney and makes my chest hurt sometimes. Don't know what it is, and have gone to doctors, but no one's figured it out yet.
I probably don't eat right, either, or enough. I never did have a really good apetite, but it's gotten worse with tiredness and stuff.

I could never name a child anything that could be shortened to "Ralf..."

I'm picking off my nail polish already and didn't get a good picture of it for my blog. I didn't get a good picture of the last color either. I fail at beauty blogging =(

The foreman was being his usual sycophantic self today, prancing around asking me to prepare the tankers for delivery on the opposite side of the facility to my normal work station. When I get there he stands around and talks to the others while I'm up on the walkway in the rain and wind, all because he can't be bothered to haul his fat ass up the ladder.
