I remember reading a story about a man who committed suicide by video-chat, lots of people didn't believe it was real and told him to get on with it or tried to call his bluff.
Of course it was real, and out of about one hundred people, only one had the sense to call the police.

True, but are some just doing it for attention? If so, what kind of attention can you really experience when your dead?

^ Yeah, often somebody's just looking for attention - which in the case they'll usually threaten to commit suicide and even do themselves harm, but chances are good they wont go through with it. And an attention seeker is more likely to try to commit suicide where there's someone around to see (thus to intervene).

If a person is serious about ending his life he'll make his peace with the world and go bite a bullet where no one is likely to disturb him. Nothing you can do about it.

I don't think you actually want to die. I think you want help, or attention, both of which are completely normal to want.

Thing is, you mentioned ICE water in your first post. Everyone knows ice water would slow bleeding, and save your life.
Don't keep attempting suicide; get help.
Attempting suicide just makes life messy for everyone, most of all you.
You might end up actually giving yourself a bigger mental problem than the one you may or may not have now.

My best friend, like a sister to me.
She hung herself with a chain dog leash from the stairwell at her parents house.
She was 13.
So many people came to her memorial service, there were people standing out the door and in the front yard of the funeral home. In March. In 40-degree weather.
Three years has done nothing to ease the pain of losing her.
