And the senders both listed the same location, in Ivory Coast West Africa. it's just weird as hell. |
It's just money scams.
It's the old nigerian money laundering scam. They ask for your bank information, then fuck you out of all your money. I pity anyone who falls for them anymore.
k.
well, i would never give out my info. hell, i don't even have a bank account. |
I got one of those. It was, literally, someone from Nigeria... (or they at least said they were). I copied and pasted it into a text file and saved it on my computer. I was rather amused that I'd been the recipient of a money scam...
I think my favourite subject line in a weird e-mail was, once I took out all the double and triple letters, "I a whopping sausage fast." |
I get about three of these a day.. I suspect the reason for this is that I responded to an email sent me once that read "you have won $1,000,000 in the South African Lottery, just email this person at blah blah blah to collect." I emailed them just for the hell of it. They responded that I had indeed won $1,000,000 and all I needed to do to collect was sent them my checking account number. DELETE. But because I even responded in the first place I am now on the "idiot" list :(
Mine come from China and they say the same thing, except it is the "wealthy father" sending the e-mails. Just ignore them and report them to your carrier as spam.
If it DOES real don't respond.. They might hit u with space shuttle...!!!
OMFG...!!!! Space SHUTTLE....!!!!! |
The cheeky bastards!
Report them! |
I got one of those a few years back, but it was through another forum I used to be active in. I decided to play along until I got bored, so I didn't respond anymore. They asked again, and I said I simply knew about their scam. Didn't hear from them anymore. Haha!
I got a few of these today. The standard of English made me laugh.
I get those ALL the time.
Yup, itīs kind of weird. Iīve never receibed one of those anyway.
Sometimes it's really fun to lead them on, make them think they got you.
