A question
 

Firstly i wanted to private message this to a moderator so i didnt annoy people with stupid questions on the board but when i went to the faq to find out how to private message people it said go to the members list ..but this was disabled ..or click on the email link in posts but duhhhh i can't see it, am i being blind?

So i guess my first question is how i private message a mod a question in future?

My second question was I have a signature on all other forums like a link or a song lyric :), is it not possible to have one here?

Short answer is that you will be able to do both when you get to a certain post count. I do not know exactly what the number is, but I suggest just goofing off in the forum games, music threads, and the like to build your post count. (Posting in *whining* does not add to your count)

Just another 148 posts until you can pm people.

Oh yeah, it's possible, you just need a higer post count.

I understand they dont get a signature but the pm thing sounds daft :).

Long story, but the OMs are kind of a perk for being a longer standing member. There was a lot of PM spam from some members who were not interested in being, well, members and just wanted to spam. This is just a measure against that. Silly, but, hey, dems de guidelines.

Just post in the random games and stuff and build the count up, woman!

I didn;t mean to insinuate anything if you did. It's a fun forum. But i didn't want you to waste time postign there to build post counts :D

A spam thread in a forum is easy to avoid, you just don't click on it, but a spammy PM takes up room in your Inbox and then there's the bloody notification about it as well, gets your hopes and then you realise:

"Aww no one actually wants to talk to me"

This is the only forum ive encountered this on and i was sure last year when i asked a similiar question i got told it was 150 posts and you got s signature, i bet ill get to 300 and theyll have made it 500 :)
