Cigars

Does anybody here enjoy cigars? I have the occasional one, but only occasional. A decent cigar is not decent if smoked every day.

My favourite cigars are Rocky Patels and Gurkhas.

KontanKarite 08-09-2008 09:51 PM

I'm more of a hookah man myself. Not much for cigars and cigs.

Smokings okay

I want to have a cigar, but when i do, i want to smoke it with a couple of friends, i like cigarrilos but, i like to smoke them with my friends, i like sitting around with my friend corey and listen to music while we both smoke a cig.

I have a couple of humidors. My fav of course is the Cohiba (the proper Cuban ones, not the Dominican versions).

Haven’t we had enough of this cigar smoking shit? When are these fat, arrogant, overfed white-collar business criminals going to extinguish their cigars and move on to their next abomination?

Soft, white, business pussies suckin’ on a big brown dick. You know, Freud used to say that sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. Yeah? Well, sometimes it’s a big, brown dick! With a fat, criminal-business asshole sucking on the wet end of it.

But, hey! The news is not all bad for me. Not all bad. Want to hear the good part? Cancer of the mouth. Good! Fuck em’. Makes me happy: It’s an attractive disease. So light up, suspender man, and smoke that smoke deep down into your empty suit. And blow it out your ass, you miserable cocksucker.

I had a couple of drags of a friend's cigar once. It was...ok I guess but I wouldn't want to smoke a whole one. I prefer the occasional cigarette instead.

I will enjoy a cigar on occasion. I don't have a favorite brand or anything though.

Man, that's one of the things that I really miss and I can't seem to find here. For the Japanese, it's cigarettes, cigarettes, and nothing else.

JCC 08-11-2008 05:45 AM

I want to smoke cigars.

PortraitOfSanity 08-11-2008 07:02 AM

Whenever I go back to Canada to visit family etc, I'll stock up on Cubans, but for Americans with no access to the real thing, I recommend Graycliff if you're willing to spend the money and Ashton if you want something more basic. CAO is pretty good too, especially if you like you cigars stronger than most.

Tam Li Hua 08-11-2008 07:17 AM

I don't really enjoy any tobacco products; I'm very sensitive to the smoke. :P

But I will say cigars smell a -lot- better than cigarettes.

Joker_in_the_Pack 08-11-2008 02:24 PM

It's because burning tobacco smells better than burning paper and about six hundred chemicals.

Graycliff are quite decent, though I've never tried CAO. Rocky Patel is my brand of choice.

Depends. I look like a fucking moron when I smoke a cigar, but I look like a fucking, cool dude when I'm smoking a cigarette.

I can't smoke tobacco (once I smoked a joint with a pinch of tobacco in it and it felt like my lungs were on fire) but once a friend's mom went to Cuba and brought back cigars, we didn't light them, we just enjoyed the smell ^_^ I'd like to try a hookah though, without tobacco of course.

Thing about cigars is they won't blacken your lungs quite so badly. You're not supposed to inhale.

Tobacco effected your lungs more poorly than the weed? I always thought it was ten times more harsh than any tobacco I smoked.

Hookahs are real nice. They're smooth and relaxing. Depending on where you go you can get interesting flavors and interesting drinks to go with. Once I went with a friend and we went for a citrus theme, and smoked orange flavored tobacco and had some kind of citrus drink that was outstanding. I highly recommend it if you enjoy tobacco, and not just cigarettes.

Hookah is flavored tobacco, that makes no sense at all.

It's harsher on your throat in terms of senses, but not long lasting effects. Though as my little brother said plainly and simply, "Nothing you light on fire and inhale is good for you."

Hookah is the device. There are things you can smoke out of a hookah that don't involve tobacco. Usually it's something that's simply flavored.

She said her lungs were on fire from the little tobacco she used, not the marijuana. I've heard some people say they handle tobacco worse, but I never really understood that being as I always thought the marijuana was immediately more harsh.

I agree though that nothing you light on fire and inhale being good for you.

Ah, so you mean like the old school Indian style, herbal fruits and shit? Never tried that. Let me tell you, two hours of heavy hookah smoking makes you fucking DIZZY.

I didn't have a problem... I was a little light headed but nothing more than that.

I'm talking personal experience for the most part. It really depends the tobacco though. Pipe tobacco or natural tobacco kicks less than shit like Marlboro. Take Regular Marlboro tobacco from a cigarette, put it in a pipe and smoke it. It's like being kicked by a horse in the throat.

Saya 08-11-2008 08:25 PM

I was told that you can have tobacco free flavours, containing sugar cane bagasse for the hookah.

>.>
<.<

So either my friend with the hookah is trying to trick me into smoking tobacco or trying to give me the diabetes.

Oh, and IsolatedReptile, I haven't smoked pot in a very long time, and can't remember the details, but depending on how the weed is harvested and prepared has something to do with the quality of the stuff. I remember the more moist the weed was the better it was. It always felt bad when I smoked it anyway, which is half the reason why I gave it up, but the stuff with the pinch in it made me absolutely sick.
