A few weeks ago, I posted a thread about my parents. Well... they kind of reached a new level of annoying. So I was talking about what my parents did [see my other thread] with my goth friend on facebook. It turns out that for fun, my parents hacked my phone and read all of my texts and pm's. They read my conversation with my friend [who I also happen to 'like' if you know what I mean] and they started talking about how she is ¨crazy¨ and ¨doesn't like me anyway¨.......... Yeah, my parents do stuff like this a lot lol. I'm really pissed off and embarrassed.

So teenagers just text and chat on Facebook rather than talk on the phone? My how times have changed.

Ah, so glad I'm not a teenager any more.

You need to figure out how to communicate effectively with your parents, then you all need to sit down and talk.

Do you remember when your parents would yell at you to get off the phone so they could use the internet?

Or picking up the other phone to eaves drop on you.

We shared the same number as the bar so sometimes bar patrons would pick up the phone and try to eavesdrop. While, you know, you hear bar background noise and know someone picked up.

I was lucky while growing up that my parent's didn't have internet during the 90's XD But when the phone was picked up from elsewhere in the house I was fortunate to have good ears to notice. I'm thankful for that, since it made me enhance my writing skills :p

This one time, my step dad kicked me off the internet and I was totes going to get cock pictures. What an insensitive arsehole :rolleyes:

Perhaps you should sit down with them and try to explain your side of the story. When I was in HS, I guess I was fortunate not to have a cell phone or Facebook (FB didn't exist yet in the 90's). But then again, I also had such a lackluster social life (almost no friends).

Anyway, try to find a way to talk it out with them. I think they're doing this because they care about you in their own way. That's how my parents were with me.
