Yay Halloween! :D

This is my favorite holiday! :D I love the costumes and the colors and everything about it! ^__^

The Fiance and I are planning on having a Halloween party at our place for our friends, and I fully intend on getting as much out of it this year as I possibly can!! Perhaps even go Trick-or-Treating. XD

What are your plans for this Halloween season?

Underwater Ophelia 10-01-2008 12:10 PM

I'm dressing as slave Princess Leia.

Tam Li Hua 10-01-2008 12:11 PM

Ohh, that's hot! :D

Beowulf 10-01-2008 12:17 PM

Samhain !!!. :)

I love Halloween (Samhain) it`s one of my favourite times of the year !!!. :)

Minyaliel 10-01-2008 01:06 PM

IŽm working that night. ItŽll be fun though - IŽll do the cool Dj- shift at the student pub I work in. =) IŽll just goth up a bit extra, I guess, and pretend to be a vampire DJ or something :P

Bete Noire 10-01-2008 01:12 PM

I'll be at Whitby:D

Saya 10-01-2008 01:50 PM

I want to be Oiwa, but I'd have to make it by hand and I dunno if I have the time or funds for it. Might order Harley Quinn costume, but I'm afraid I won't get it on time >.>

Anyway, I'll be at a house party ^_^

Duane 10-01-2008 02:06 PM

I'm going as Buddha.

Paigeybobert 10-01-2008 02:10 PM

I'm going as a frog monster thing. :]
I'm just going to go trick-or-treating.

What self-respecting heterosexual male hates Halloween? It's the one day of the year when every attractive woman dresses like a hooker, and all the other ones cover themselves with sheets.

Then they should drop the pretentious and call it 'scantily clad e'en'.

Right, whatever, I meant any guy with even the smallest interest in chicks.

No, the pretense of holiday hijinks is what allows image-conscious young ladies to avoid the stigma of skankiness, i.e. "I'm not a prostitute, I'm a succubus!"
Scantily clad 'een wouldn't let them lie to themselves.

I don't even get sluttily-dressed teens at Hallowe'en, I get eight year old girls with plastic warts on their nose pretending to be witches, and hooligans smashing my door because we didn't give them junk food fast enough.

Do you live in a city? Anyone without the ability to grow pubic hair has generally retired by nightfall around here. Failing that, go to a halloween party that you know attractive women will be attending.
I try to communicate that children are unwelcome at my homestead by not displaying any decorations. It usually works.

Thank you Gothicus. That was 'right gentlemanly' of you. I will most likely be working -- and missing my girl, as she is celebrating H'ween on the other side of the country. However, I only have to work a half-day (unless I get called in to job #2), so I will either be going to Rocky Horror Picture Show as a 'death angel' (already have my 'shroud', just need black 'wing's and long-hair wig as my hair is too short). Otherwise, I may just go out to the Firebird Speedway for the Halloween races and the costume contest. Wow. I actually get to trick-or-treat the kids this year instead of leaving candy out and running for work. Woohoo. (An JCC -- you don't have to be hetero to love Halloween, or dress skanky). You need a new venue, dude.

badteccy 10-01-2008 03:09 PM

Dunno what I'm doing yet, but I am going as a hot dog.

Valravn 10-01-2008 03:35 PM

I will go to italy and celebrate Halloween with my friends somewhere dunno where really Oo but just the fact to be with friends I havent seen in long time and get to cut wierd faces in pumpkins makes me think it will rock xD

Saya 10-01-2008 03:39 PM

Oh! And its Mardi Gras down on George Street XD Might go down for a few drinks. Its jammed packed with people but a lot of people have had great costumes. I wonder how they ID you when you're all dressed up?

Jaye Jang 10-01-2008 04:03 PM

Saya, that sounds like where my girl is. She told me it is illegal to trick-or-treat after the age of 10 (go figure), so how do you tell? Do you have 'Halloween police' lifting masks and busting people who are overage? (Besides, what would they charge you with? Embezzling candy?).

Nah, I'm talking about George Street, its a entire street with nothing but bars. At Mardi Gras they have costume contests and you pay cover for the entire street :D so its cheap bar hopping. I never thought about it before but I just think it would be hard when they ID you to make sure you are of drinking age, and its Halloween so everyone is dressed up with loads of makeup or masks.

TheBloodEternity 10-01-2008 05:27 PM

My boyfriend is coming down to visit me on Halloween.
