Goth shoes???
I can't afford Goth boots like New Rocks, which is good because I'm not too keen on them myself. So I've been walking around in converse all week but I want to look Goth not Goth/Punk. If I was to buy a pair of pointed ankle-high stiletto boots and cut them at the joint to make them look ragged (like Rosie's in Coronation Street) would they be okay?
Does anyone have any other suggestions? Or will I need New Rocks? NB: I don't mean any offense to people who wear Converse or New Rocks. |
Just wear what you want to wear. I mean honestly, why do you care? Just wear black shoes.Get some Docs or something. New Rocks are some of the ugliest shoes on the planet by the way.

I jut wear combat boots. They're comfortable and fun to kick irritating people with due to the steel toe-caps...

Wear what you want. If something looks good on you go with it. I just wear whatever cheap shoes i can find at wallmart.

Yeah, but then there arent many places where you can buy a reasonably good but under ten dollars pair of shoes new.

Right for a start do not, copy rosie from coronation street please, NOT cool, ive got doctor martins, you like those? Or just go into a store like shoe express and get some knee high boots with a heel and some buckles or chains on..you can get a good pair for around £30

I have some nifty boots that are ankle high (black of course). They are soft and have soft black material around the ankle. I wish I could wear combat books. That would kick so much ass! ^^

in my opinion the shoes you wear have to be comfortable first of all; with a black outfit they have to be black, too; height of heel depends on what you wear (dress or trousers) ...

Well, I lose goth points for not having too many pairs of platforms. Not in my budget at the time especially since I don’t go clubbing so often. I stick to comfier everyday shoes like my Docs or nancy boots. Heee, they were both on clearance at a really crappy outlet mall when I was in New Jersey. Damn, I wish I could find one of those in Houston.
I even have a lovely pair of mary janes from JC Penny. The style is very similar to what you can order on goodgoth.com., but I didn’t have to wait for weeks and pay twice the amount. You can easily spot some nice stilettos at crappy places like Ross. Uhh…oh yeah, you’re up there in the UK. And my most cherished knee-high Docs are from some wannabee resale shop. If only they knew the difference between resale and the mall!!! But I must say that the price was staggering for such a nice pair of leather boots. Sorry that I killed a cow. So I suppose it’s a matter of luck and persistence. Look around and you can be a thrifty duckie like me. New Rocks?? What were you thinking? |
Oooh, darkangel, I like those.
|
I get some shoes from Newport news...they have old lady clothes, but the shoes are usually neet and $15-$50
I just checked thier shoes...not much left, but check out the coat I found!!!! OOOWWW! Oh Santa, can I have that one?! http://www.newport-news.com/assets/p.../5F2694A_3.jpg link to coat |
I'm loving those boots dark...
Most of mine are mid calf-knee high black army/combat style. Doc-ish. I need a pair of mary janes though. |
I wear platform shoes in bright colours.
Are you gonna take away my goth points for that? |
|
Dark angel : Those boots are hot ! I like them!!
|
WTF is up with everyone hating New Rocks? I think they are absolutely beautiful. AS soon as I get the money you can bet your babybat-asses that I'll be sportin' a pair!
It's not right to hate something just because mommy and daddy won't buy it for you! |
