Hello.

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)

My hobbies include photography, listening to music, reading, writing, and attempting to make items of jewellery.

2. Where are you from?

Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

3. Who is your favorite author?

It is a tie between Edgar Allan Poe and Sylvia Plath.

4. What are your favorite films?

At the moment, they are "Night of the Living Dead", "A Clockwork Orange", "Pulp Fiction", "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" and "Dracula" (1931).

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?

"Forever Came Today" by Shadow Project.

6. At your funeral?

"Dead and Buried" by Alien Sex Fiend, just for the amusement factor.

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?

As painlessly as possible.

8. What kind of casket would you want?

Although I find coffins to be aesthetically pleasing, they are ultimately a waste of money, so I would opt for the cheapest one available.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?

My skeletal hand hair-clips, plastic bone necklace, short-sleeved black lace dress with a velvet blouse and knee-length skirt underneath, black beaded bracelet, spiderweb stockings and Doc Martens with purple laces.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?

Innocence, and the boundless energy that children seem to possess.

11. What's your favorite band?

Christian Death and its various splinter-groups.

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?

I am currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Photography.

13. Why did you join?

My regional Goth forum is severely lacking in anything worthwhile at the moment.

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?

Female.

Ah excellent, fresh blood.
Welcome to Gnet.

I see you like "Night Of The Living Dead", great movie.

You wouldn't happen to be attending Midnight Calling would you? The new deathrock / goth night up in Brisneyland.

Points for Sylvia Plath! That reminds me, I recently recorded a bio pic I still haven't watched. I'm not sure if I'll be able to tolerate Gwynneth Palthrow though.

Anyway, welcome...

I give her a bloody platinum star sticker.... yeah that's right man. You've just been 1-upped! (Had too. She actually spelled Poe's middle name right.)

Hah... Welcome to the forums.

SiouxsiePernova 04-13-2009 08:26 PM

I will most definitely be at Midnight Calling, Cicero.

Thank you all for the lovely welcome. :-)

Cicero 04-13-2009 09:58 PM

Awesome. My boyfriend and I were going to head up there for it but can't really afford to right now. It's a club I'd love to see take off, especially since some of our friends have been involved in starting it up.

Malice In Wonderland 04-14-2009 02:00 AM

You seem good.
And you spelt Edgar Allan Poe right.
Welcomeeeee.

HumanePain 04-14-2009 03:28 AM

I like you, welcome.

So many people say "coffins are a waste of money" blah blah, am I the only one who wants to spend money on an ornate send off? People say to enjoy life, well, shouldn't we have the same philosophy about death?

Stormtrooper of Death 04-14-2009 07:27 AM

Welcome! I think you have excellent taste in life, so stick around please!

Raptor 04-14-2009 08:05 AM

Actually, I think I recognise you...

Undead_?

I was the person that got banned from there twice yesterday haha. Didn't like people's opinions of that magazine just because the people on the cover had hair other than deathhawks.

For me, it's not about the money, although the expense is ridiculous. It's about my feelings toward burial and how it's a complete waste of earth. We reserve so much fucking land for the dead that it disgusts me. It could be put to better uses--like strip malls!

Well yeah, if they have a Goth clothing or vintage clothing store, sure. But besides that I mean, har.
