Wouldn't you like to know?

Guess we all have to go through this ritual. :)

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)

Love cars (mainly classic), love music, goth dancing, cooking, indoor rock wall climbing, concerts, almost anything where im active, and if you want more feel free to pick my brain.

2. Where are you from?

Central Valley (30min north of Fresno)

3. Who is your favorite author?

Dan Brown

4. What are your favorite films?

Iron Man, Terminator 2, and a few more that are escaping me right now.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?

Nightwish

6. At your funeral?

Within Temptation

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?

With a smile on my face after angry, biting, vigorous tantric sex.

8. What kind of casket would you want?

Just throw me into a 2x4 framed casket covered with plywood and painted black with red

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?

My pants that I just finished "altering" that I still need to upload pics to my blog. Would love to create a classic goth outfit

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?

nothing. would rather go back and delete alot of things.

11. What's your favorite band?

Green Day (so?)

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?

Currently 4th year in school, majoring in Graphic Design. Extra 1/2 year left.

13. Why did you join?

Just curious about you people, learn a few things, and share a few things.

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?

I think it's really obvious!

RozzVanian 04-15-2009 08:42 PM

Green Day? How utterly gothic.
Welcome to the boards. Any other favorite bands? Any goth bands perhaps???

draven_noir 04-15-2009 08:51 PM

HA! Thanks for the greeting. Yes, I may be somewhat normal, but you have to pick my brain for the real juicy stuff (which you have done). I love Combichrist, Psychlon 9, System Syn, Covenant, and anything else with a good beat that I can dance to. What can I say, I'm a well rounded individual with a delicious dark side. Te he.

RozzVanian 04-15-2009 08:55 PM

I have never heard of any of those bands. What genre are they? You a metalhead or what?

maggot 04-15-2009 08:56 PM

I was worried there for a second.

RozzVanian 04-15-2009 08:59 PM

I'm guessing you're a guy...am I right? It's hard to tell. Not that gender matters to me, I don't care what gender people think I am, personally.

Anyway, you seem to have already gotten into the swing of things.

Aren't they E.B.M. bands?

RozzVanian 04-15-2009 09:07 PM

So, like, industrial EBM stuff? I like that kind of thing. I'm a big industrial fan.

My standard question to new members: Do you like Skinny Puppy? Because if you do, then I like you.

Godslayer Jillian 04-15-2009 09:48 PM

Forget Green Day.
Dan Brown? Seriously?

draven_noir 04-15-2009 10:39 PM

Skinny puppy is good. I just threw Dan brown out there. The book was my roommates. Yes they are industrial bands, but I am mainly into dark electro.

Classic cars? May I ask if you have a particular favorite? Mine is a 1971 dodge challenger R/T Also Welcome =)

draven_noir 04-16-2009 01:38 AM

Well, I love just about all pre-73 and don't have a favorite, but my top consist of a 69' Camaro, 65' GTO, 72' Cuda, 70' Boss 302, 55' T-Bird, 32' Coupe, and the 71 Challenger. I actually own a 70' mustang coupe, but its not running at the moment, long story.

Maxim_Macabre 04-16-2009 02:56 AM

Eww Nightwish/Within Temptation.

Niccce....
My mom had a '69 mustang coupe, she used to street race with it.

Stormtrooper of Death 04-16-2009 08:14 AM

Green Day blows. Now that I got that out of the picture:

I also like muscle cars, I own one actually my daily driver is a 1973 Chevy Monte Carlo, 350 small block, Rochester 2GV double barrel, Turbo 350 3 speed and just over 100,000 miles. I'll have it restored 90% within the month, so at least we have another car dude around.

Pineapple_Juice 04-16-2009 08:28 AM

It always bother me for some reason when people list popular music and then other people say they've never heard of it. Specifically on a forum such as this.
I don't know why that bothers me, but it does. Maybe I'm cuckoo for cocoa puffs.

Hello!!!!!! xD
Welcome to the forums.

JCC 04-16-2009 12:27 PM

No, I don't want to know. Go away.

Mr E Nigma 04-16-2009 03:40 PM

"3. Who is your favorite author?

Dan Brown"

While I read his books.... really favorite?

Even if you did just throw down an author you can always fall back on Edgar Allan Poe... or Shakespeare, or someone who could actually write as well as the credit they're given... Even if it's cliche it's better than Dan Brown....

Haha, has anyone heard Green Day's new single from their new album!?!?!? XDDD..

THE LEAD SINGER SCREAMS!!!! It made me lulz... almost to the point of blowing orange soda out of my nostrils.

Some of Nightwish's older stuff was good. Though I do like their new female singer as opposed to the old one.

RozzVanian 04-16-2009 04:16 PM

I didn't mean to be rude when I asked if he was a metalhead. I was just curious. Just putting that out there.

That was my reaction, too.

Oh well. Welcome, new person.

Pyre 04-16-2009 07:42 PM

Rozz, how can you think he's a metalhead, then say you like industrial/EBM and not know the bands he listed? I am not familiar with System Syn, but the others he listed should be well-known to someone who listens to industrial, unless for you it's simply "oh, I dabbled in it a bit and like some stuff, but I don't really listen to it."

Sorry, I used to be heavily into industrial/EBM, so I get a bit defensive.

Draven: What do you mean it's your roommate's book and you just threw it in there? You make it sound as if you didn't read it at all, but that you picked up a book at random (fuck you guys, I am going to use "random") and thought "I'll just list this one."

Cicero 04-16-2009 08:19 PM

The bands listed were EBM. Rozz said he's an industrial fan, and if he's into 'real' industrial that wouldn't include the likes of Combichrist and Covenant.

RozzVanian 04-16-2009 08:25 PM

Yeah, I'm into the classic stuff like KMFDM, Front Line Assembly, Skinny Puppy, Ministry, and the somewhat goth/industrial band Alien Sex Fiend.

I'm not really into the newer industrial stuff, so maybe that's why I didn't recognize the bands.
