PETER MURPHY played at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno on Saturday. I live 30 min. away. I had to work. I had no money to go even if I wouldn't have had to work. Even if I hadn't had to work and had the money, I don't keep up with what shows up at the casinos, so I wouldn't have known in time.

But he performed, here. And, a measly 30 min. away, I missed it. WAHHHHH!!!!! *cries*

45 grave, green jello, and Frankenstein are going to be playing at the Knitting Factory soon and I have to miss it. And I have to miss Peter Murphy also. Going to EDC with the girlfriend though, but that's raver shit, I'm just going for her really. Not my cup of tea for music but it's kinda been growing on me a little bit, xD

I doubt that Peter Murphy will ever decide to grace Australia with his presence. Bah.

I missed Bauhaus's performance at summerfest some years back.

I missed Bauhaus as well, Jake had won tickets from some radio station but I had to go to my cousin's wedding, which was the day after the concert but it was also in Cape Cod.

I missed Blitzkid AND Zombina & The Skeletones recently, both within weeks of each other.
The website said it was all ages but when we got there it was 18+.

Fuck I hate The Marquee pub.

Yeah the landlord of the pub put the age limit of the gigs up AGAIN.
Because he had an argument with some guy who was drinking his own booze outside.

Zombina got canceled on Sunday : ( The venue didn't give out any reason for it either.
And I missed Subhumans awhile back.

That fucking sucks.

I missed Bauhaus :_( Which saddens me immensely. I've seen Specimen, I've seen the Sisters,I've seen Siouxsie, but no Bauhaus. I was also unable to see Dead Can Dance when they played that one off show in London a couple of years ago. GUTTED.

I desperately want to see SGC or even just Andi Sexgang by himself. I NEED IT! He never plays the UK :_(

I missed 45 Grave a few years ago, but the worst story I heard was a friend of mine who goes to college in NY was going to see The Cramps, but missed out. He figured, ok this is NY, they'll be back. Then Lux Interior died.

That's one of the saddest stories ever ='[

hmm well I live in podunk USA so the best one I missed was NIN.

I missed the Haus twice...Once I had finals to study for and I just couldn't afford them the second time around. I also missed Wanda Jackson, Nick Cave, The Damned (I already saw them once before), Wake The Dead II, Blessure Grave, and The Sisters. And I might very well miss this upcoming gig because I'll be working the very day and can't get anyone to cover my shift on Saturday.

But now that I'm too tired to go out and it's vital to keep my job, I have long since gotten used to missing out on these once in a while.
