I thought it might be fun to know how everyone came across this site.

I was looking up gothic forums, see if joining one would help me discover what goth really is. Well, worth it, too.

back in my days of crappy pretentious prickness, I typed in goth in Google :P

I'm pretty happy I found this site, a lot of cool people to talk to, and stuff.

I dunno; Google, I guess. I really don't remember.

I was on fanfiction dot net, and some of the less...fluffy... writers mentioned these dark and hallowed halls. I found the more mature community here easier to interact with and enjoy.

I noticed this bright glow on the horizon at night, so I went to investigate. I found this towering inferno, that wasn't fueled by anything of this earth. As I went near it, I felt no heat, just a seething hatred that continuously fueled this mass of flames.

Wow I went back and read that, it was lame. If you guys could do me a favor and kind of forget that it exists, that would be great. Thanks.

I was looking for a place to where I could read poetry and contribute when I was going through a phase where I wrote constantly. I also wanted to learn more about various styles/prose etc etc and get feedback. The literature section is now a far cry from what I once was but I have a feeling that can't be helped.

I first discovered it through Google directory, but didn't join until someone at another forum mentioned it, and I came over here and stopped frequenting the other forum. I can't even remember that other forum's name, had something to do with gothic and it had an arcade, and it doesn't exist anymore.

Ye olde Google showed me it when I was looking for poetry one evening.

I was just bouncing around forums, trying to find something interesting. So far, I'm actually glad I found this one.

Then let me tell you this, Jin. Except for your regular outbursts of "me alone against the fucking world" attitude, I kinda like you :P
