Grrrr

Apperantly this thing has a prob w the word "******" sigh. But if you go onto that site, I got these:Gothic Victorian Long Bustle Skirt & the Long Gothic Victorian Mourning Dress.

Sephiroth Kali 08-31-2009 07:32 AM
I love the hat.

Ophelia's Snorkel 09-01-2009 07:41 PM
The mourning dress looks exactly like Mrs. Gulch's from The Wizard of Oz.
Now I'm jealous : ) I would so wear that thing on a bicycle through town.

Thanks!

I got 2 emails yesterday about shipping so I guess they're finally on their way (does stupid happy dance). As soon as I get them I'll post photos. You know Ophelia, that bicycling through town thing doesn't sound like a bad idea...especially as I just happen to have a bike lol. Unfortunately it's been waaaay too hot as of late. Plus I'm wondering just how easy riding in all that dress will be...

Just figured something out...

on those links-if after you click on them erase those astrics & type l.o.l.i.t.a. (w/o the periods of course) instead. You should be able to see the pics.

I have always wanted that dress specifically for bike riding. I hope you have a wicker basket on your bike.

The Divine Ms. M 09-02-2009 01:15 AM
Hahahaha!

Funnily enough I was gonna get one but didn't have enough at the time. I guess I should go back & see if they still have any left:)

You'll get the basket and your little dog too!

Really. You should find a little terrier to adopt/steal from a 12yo.

Miss Gulch would be proud :D

Retroscope's parasols are very ornate. Does anyone know whether they are particularly sturdy?

Ophelia's Snorkel 09-02-2009 06:47 AM
I hope so. They're beautiful, but part of the reason I went with decorating a golf umbrella last time is because I'd already worn out two other parasols through constant use. I'd hate to have one of theirs break.

It's nifty looking, but I wouldn't have paid so much for it. I could make something like that for easily half the cost.

Some people are simply not as gifted, Kor.

How did you wear them out? I've had problems with the spokes of my parasol snapping.

Pssh. I never said "you shouldn't have paid so much, make it yourself", I just said I wouldn't have paid so much myself. :P

Finally got the stuff yesterday!

Unfortunately my friend who was supposed to take my pictures isn't feeling well, so that's been put off for a bit...ah well. But they're all awesome even if a bit too long for me (as usual):)
