YOUR Makeup Routine...
 

Greetings,

Tell me all about how you wear your makeup for school, partying, or simply everyday. I am trying to experiment with different styles of makeup because I usually do a romantic sort of look (heavy winged eyeliner, deep red lips, pale complexion) and it gets boring over time. Hopefully, your ideas will inspire me :)

I wear mascara.
Pretty much it.

Once in a while I'll wear some eyeliner.

If I wear make-up, it's usually just heavy black eyeliner. If I'm not going anywhere spiffy, I usually can't be bothered. Would rather spend the time with my boyfriend. Or sleeping or painting or cleaning my brushes properly.

It all depends on what I'm doing ...normally I just wear eyeliner and mascara. If I'm going somewhere dressy...then I wear different eyeshadows, and fake eyelashes are fun :D if you can handle them being annoying.

1. Moisturizer/SPF
2. Foundation
3. Loose powder
4. Winged black eyeliner
5. Eyeshadow. Sometimes all white, sometimes orange and yellow, and sometimes whitish with brown at the edges.
6. Eyelash curler
7. Mascara
8. Lipliner (matches lip color)

Done.

1. Rinse face
2. Brush teeth
3. Add deodorant
4. Comb hair
5. Good to go!

I usually only wear kohl eyeliner, mascara and tinted lip gloss during the day. My very dark lipstick, eyeshadow and liquid eyeliner are saved for special occasions.

Concealer, powder, eyeshadow in some color or black, eyeliner used to create a wing but not used on the upper lid, eyeliner in the waterline, black eyeshadow over the eyeshadow to dim it down if I wasn't wearing black already, mascara and lip balm.

For school, its mosturizer, loose powder foundation, black, grey, and silvery or a spectrum of purples eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara.
If I'm going to the studio, just concealor, eyeliner, and mascara.

i normally just wear some coty loose powder in naturally neutral, and some clear mascara in my brows. Sometimes I'll wear black eye liner when I have the random craving for it, or just on special occasions.

Uh oh.. here we go.

- foundation
- concealer under eyes
- pencil in eyebrows
- powder like crazy
- light blush (sometimes, usually for night)
- eye shadow all around my eyes. I like to change in up- purple, grey, maroon, black, brown, bright pink.. whatever matches my outfit and mood.
- black eyeliner
- load on the black mascara
- very light lipstick and/or gloss

It takes me anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour to get it right, depending on the occasion. It's ridiculous at times.

I wake up , wash my face , brush my teeth , do my hair a little and i go =) haha

Some of you guys wear way too much makeup.

Aw, but I love my winged eyeliner...

If it takes that much time, cut back. No need to be late just because you have to have MAC's Telographic all over every inch of your eyelid.

With me, I used to wear a shit ton of makeup too but I've had to cut back tremendously with funds and the weather making it liable to melt and smear. Now I can start again with a little bit less.

Before, it was:
Moisturizer/SPF
Studio Fix in NC 43/45
Liquid Liner in Boot Black
Dubonnet/Dark Side lipstick
Nightmoth/Brick lip liner
Softlips with SPF
Occasionally, Fig. 1 (purple)/Telographic (black) eyeshadow

Now it's all about Softlips and the moisturizer/SPF.

If I put any moisturizer/cream/cleanser on my face other than Cetaphil, it gives me acne. It's really irritating. I must get a parasol.

Softlips are awesome, by the way.

On a regular day after a good night's sleep I'll usually wear nothing but moisturiser. If I have the time and am in the mood I'll throw on some eyeshadow (usually green or purple with some black or grey) and eyeliner and curl my eyelashes.

My club-going routine has been cut down to about half an hour or less... Concealer, MAC pressed powder studio fix, a fuckload of eyeshadow in whatever colour I feel like, liquid liner, sometimes blush, lipliner and lipstick (always very subtle, I prefer to keep the drama at my eyes). Oh and mascara if I remember before I rush out the door.

See? Me and you are easy and just plain careless.

I ain't ashamed to admit I look like dogshit without makeup.

Also, does it count if one wears a shit ton of makeup but it doesn't LOOK like one wears a shit ton of makeup?

Usually I just moisturise, use some pale concealer, do my eyebrows and eyes with black eyeliner and that's about it.

Eh...that's a tricky one.
Those chicks at the mall wearing foldover yoga pants don't think they look like they're wearing a ton of makeup...but christ.

Just eyeliner. Usually a bit of dark brown, with black on the waterline.

Just Kohl eyeliner.
