What Should You Prepare Before a Pallet of Firewood Is Delivered?

Ordering a large quantity of logs is straightforward, but the delivery itself can become awkward if the driveway is steep, gravelled, or difficult for pallet equipment to access. Do you prepare a dedicated drop-off area before ordering bulk firewood?

For steep or gravel driveways, I’d mark a flat, solid area near the house and let the delivery team know in advance. I’ve had good results with OneStopFuel when it comes to planning around tricky access, and their drivers are used to asking questions before they arrive. Clearing the path and having a pallet jack-friendly surface helps a lot.
