Pride and Prejudice and Zombies movie?
 
I heard that Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is going to be made into a movie with Natalie Portman. Has anyone else heard this and will anyone watch it?

I did read the book and found parts of it amusing.

I'll watch it. Mostly just because I really liked the book, and because I'm addicted to movies...especially zombie movies.

I like zombie movies too. Especially Resident Evil, but I'm not too sure about this one. I might have to see how the trailers look.

Resident evil sucked...they totally should have stuck with the games storyline of ZOMBIES rather than turning it into a full out action movie.

If they stuck with the storyline of ZOMBIES instead of an action movie with a thicker plot than OH NO ZOMBIES, nobody would have seen it, it would have been a cult classic at best. They wanted to make money. Looks like they know what they were doing.

Now, I'm all about some source material accuracy, but I understand that a movie company pumps millions of dollars into a single film, and it just wouldn't make sense to not at least make the money back.

Well obviously it's all about the money...but I personally think people would have liked it more if it DID stick with the storyline.

Picked up the book at the library several days ago. Just started reading it. Got to the point where Elizabeth fights the zombies in the road on the way to see to Jane when she gets sick. It's been alright thus far.

Both books are entertaining in my opinion. I actually liked Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters more then the original....

I would be very happy to see Pride and Prejudice and Zombies become a film reality. I would especially be happy to see Natalie Portman in it. Yum.

And uh....yeah...Resident Evil...as much as I love the games....the movies fucking suck...
