I am a cutter

I am a cutter.
I love to see my blood flow down my skin.
I am a cutter.
I love the cool feel of cold stainless steel press agents my skin. I am a cutter.
I cut to satisfy the urges within. I am a cutter.
Let the bloodbath begin.

Why do you even get up in the morning hun?

Still Jack 02-02-2010 08:45 AM

Why do you think anyone would care about you poking yourself with sharp objects?

Ben Lahnger 02-02-2010 09:03 AM

Did you even write that poem yourself? I think you copied it from someone else on the interwebs, because I swear I've seen it a dozen times before.

Anyway, I don't know what you expected the reaction would be here to this cheerful little post. Look at the Kill me!!!!!!!!!! thread for a clue.

But almost certainly this screams "I'm an attention whore and wish to get your response to my shocking revelation." Which is funny, because it is not shocking, nor unusual, nor original.

It is, however, tedious and boring. It's a yawn inducing snooze-fest. As I ponder the notion that it would have been helpful to read your post last night as I wrestled with insomnia, I find myself struggling to keep my eyes open.

Well, I better hustle over to one of the many "People just don't understand goths" threads for some excitement before I succumb to an unplanned and unwanted nap.

Yea, just judging from the people I know who actually have a problem with this, I'm guessing you're one of the attention craver breed of cutters, rather than the ones who actually need help.

I have absolutely no sympathy for you, and it's pretty insulting to the people who have a problem that whiny idiots like you go on forums and write bad poetry about this.

Still Jack 02-02-2010 01:13 PM

The people I've known that have been into self mutilation didn't actually cut themselves. Rows and rows of cigarette burns is closer to the mark.

Plus I agree with PoS.

PortraitOfSanity 02-02-2010 01:14 PM

Yea cigarette burning is pretty common.

blindNsect 02-02-2010 01:15 PM

Gross. Not only do they have self mutilation problems but it probably makes them stink, too.

You should try starving yourself to feel physically as hollow as you feel emotionally. Then you should write about it.

Angelic Dissonance 02-02-2010 08:52 PM

Why starve youself on purpose when you're malnourished as it is? And burning is just as fun as cutting--except you can't write your name in blood.... Heated paperclips do wonders on those drowsy days. Those food blankets, they's tastes like dildos.
