On Your Knees and CONFESS!

Like I disclosed in the Random thread, I like ABBA. A lot. More then is allowed by the Gothic Elite.

I also have Brittney Spears AND Christina Aquilera in my play list.

One of my favorite movies is The Sound of Music. And Annie. I love Annie.

The point? Confess all your little things you'd be embarrased for anyone to know about you., Everything from the little bunny Foo Foo you still sleep with to the fact that you STILL have a crush on Justin Timberlake (by the way, if this is you, you're fucking WIERD!)

Go on, have at it. I've already laid some of mine on the table.

Shi'ark 03-02-2006 03:00 AM

I still plat with toys.
Surgery on teddy bears, army men in the microwave, rigging remote control cars with explosive. Tons of fun. lol

Wise Child 03-02-2006 03:05 AM

*looks around and whispers* Blink 182. I have All The Small Things. *starts at sudden noise and bolts for the door*

Prof_Moriarty 03-02-2006 03:31 AM

I thought all bras were pretty much "one-size-fits-all" up until I was 18.

JuliaGaltic 03-02-2006 06:23 AM

I love Oasis, Oleander and Third Eye Blind. :(

and... umm...errr..

I don't shower everyday... I skip a day sometimes.

*turns beet red and bolts out of room*

Cruel Intentions 03-02-2006 06:23 AM

I still have my old tamagotchis and a furby. My friend stuck his in the microwave. That was funny...

Anyone ever heard of Warhammer or 40K? Yeah, I still play that stuff.

*narrowly avoids being spat on*

pitseleh 03-02-2006 08:09 AM

Not showering every day, Julia? Come on, that's not embarrasing. Especially not for someone as naturally pretty as you. As any doctor will tell you, excessive showering weakens the immune system and dries out the skin. It's just a cosmetics-industry conspiracy to make people feel like they have to smell like a perfume counter all the time. I sometimes skip two days, just because I can't be bothered with my hair.

Which brings me to my embarrasing thing...

I spend way too much time in front of the mirror fiddling with my hair. Slicking it over, trimming it... "Naah... too gay. Hmm, maybe this way... no, not gay enough!" Then mussing it up and starting all over. I can do that sometimes for close to an hour, really. Also, I make faces at myself in the mirror, check out my angles, all that stuff. I will insist I'm not vain, although I feel like such a braindead male model-type when I do it. It's more to do with a lack of self-esteem and never being able to leave well enough alone, actually.

As for music, I don't like anything really embarrasing. Ok, there are a couple of sappy "emo" bands I listen to if I'm feeling particularly sentimental, like Copeland, Underoath, Circa Survive... but those are actually quite good. I put "emo" in brackets, because those bands are not real emo, which is a genre that descends directly from hardcore, and has screamy vocals, dissonant guitars and not the slick production and sugary-sweet pop-punk vocals of MTV-emo.

Oh, and I sometimes listen to Kylie Minogue. Because it's sexy, and has a cool electro vibe not found in most pop music.

eyesofatragedy 03-02-2006 08:28 AM

I listen to some Kylie Minogue and I like the Britney Spears song "Toxic".

I love going to the club and dancing to rap/r&b.

Soooooooo not goth.

I like ABBA myself.
Now I'm going to be forced to retract some of the nasty thoughts I had of you.

Bete Noire 03-02-2006 08:39 AM

I (willingly) listen to The Rasmus. *Cowers*

What, no, why… saying that their did well over hear.

Me I listen to Indi rock, but that’s only because I have friends who listen to Indi and I like to mix the music up a bit.

It gets really embarassing when I leave my dorm room door open and I get caught. I swear I'm not vain, it's just something I do.

Surviving party tip #1: turn up already drunk. Trust me.

The only CDs I buy for full price are by Suzanne Vega.

She made fun of me at her last concert.

Hrm Guilty Confessions?

Ugh, here's one.

I USED to be a "Duranie" as in one who was previously Obssessed with Duran Duran.

I had every book ever published about them, I knew all their birthdays, favorite colors, etc.

Simon Le Bon was my favorite, John Taylor a close second.

And when they broke up, I CRIED..

*sniffle*

Oh and my hair was FEATHERED in Middle School.. Yes, Feathered.

*Sob*

I also love MOST Musicals. My Fair Lady is still my favorite.

I am also a HUGE Harry Connick Jr. Fan. (Bite Me :D)

Oh and ONE of the BEST concerts I ever attended was,

a Billy Joel Concert.

*hangs head in shame*

Let the Pointing & Laughing Begin!!

*backs away slowly*

You make it sound as if the 80's were a bad thing.

Metatron 03-02-2006 10:04 AM

I listen to Hilary Duff, and I actually like it. I know, I know. Sue me.

I also have the urge to relive childhood and play Pokémon, on GameBoy, again.

As eyesofatragedy, and several others of you know, Lion King is probably my most favorite movie, and I still cry every time I watch it.

Wise Child 03-02-2006 10:30 AM

It was very sad, this is true.

But... am I the only one who thinks Scar is really fucking cool, Mufasa-killing aside? "Ooh, I shall practice my curtsey"... come ON, the dude's funny.

And another thing, why are baddies always English? We stopped colonising everyone years ago!
