Search for the Sould
Just a quick explanation of the subject of this poem, it's about Leonardo da Vinci and his desire to find the location of the soul in the body in relation to my own religious search. When I left Christianity and found myself searching for some kind of religious identity that could fit me I remebered learning of Leonardo's spiritual search.
Search for the Soul Leonardo where are you now? Your business isn’t done, You left the soul unfound. I’m searching now, Come help me now. Leonardo where do you haunt? Your business isn’t done. Where can it be found? Which organ in my mortal body does it inhabit? What is its form and color, Which you never captured with brush and paint? Where in this broken universe does it go? Leonardo where do you haunt? All of these questions unanswered. For someone so significant, To leave such a quest unfinished, It is a crime most unforgivable. Your soul must be so restless now, It could not be found in life, Perhaps it is lost even in death? |
Oh...I'm so sorry for the typo in the title of the post...that looks very stupid.

Nobody is perfect. Just wondering, what do you consider as the "Soul"? seeing as it appears to be the main theme of the poem.

Really nice Mariner. Was this poem a spontaneous one? I mean have you just thought about it while you're logged in?
