If you ate a ghost, would it be cannibalism?
And if not, why aren't we doing it?
|
It's not cannibalism, but they're just not filling. Like Jello, you can eat all you want and never feel full.

As I read this, I thought, "I imagine we might be able to get the answer to this from watching Gothicus' new stage play!"
Then I remembered, I already DO eat ghosts! http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c3.../boo-berry.jpg |
now, philosophically, is Ben a cannibal?

Hey, I was already a cannibal. I've been eating women for years.
|
That only counts if you taste blood...
|
Can you really "eat" a ghost? Are they a solid? Is there chewing involved?
|
Good point. Do plants "eat" light? They use it in the process of photosynthesis to be sure, but do they "eat" it. If so then the classic definition of eating (ingesting matter) needs to be altered to include energy as well as matter. If that is done then perhaps one could "eat" a ghost...if you accept a ghost as a form of energy.

I went down on a ghost once.

To answer this question, furst we must define cannibalism.
|
In turn would not a ghost cannibal have to be a ghost?
|
I had a girlfriend who was a ghost. She was a powerful feminine entity.
|
Depending on if ghosts can take on a solid form, how you define "eating" and how you define cannibalism, then yes. I would say it is indeed cannibalism to eat a ghost.
|
I was always convinced it was cannibalism every time I went to Catholic church and they offered communion and I'd go accept that little bread wafer on my tongue while the priest said, "This is the body of Christ."

I haven't even seen one. How can I eat it? And if ever I see one, I'm ok, I'm full.
Unless it's Megan Foxx's ghost. Yumm! |
Yo he bebido una fantasma con una paja loca...
