Happy 420 everybody!

I'm already celebrating.

I'm gonna be making brownies later due to bronchitis and sinusitis.

Here's to hoping it won't fuck with my antibiotics.

According to a new Associated Press - CNBC poll, only 33% of Americans support legalizing Marijuana. (source - MSNBC's "Way Too Early")

I'm just sharing the info. Even though I have no interest in using Marijuana at this point in my life, I do believe it should be legal, as well as taxed and regulated the same way alcohol is.

My Grandpa's B-Day would have been tomorrow, he would of been 77, I miss him a lot, always seem to remember that when this day comes up. Didn't mean to be all serious, anyways, have a good day everbody, be safe!

Have to agree with this. 4/20 is yet another normal day for me, nothing special. I am not too fond of the pot smoking aesthetic.

I think it's ironic that 4/20 is supposed to be a day for rallying support for the legalization of marijuana, but most folks that post about it online talk as if it's the greatest reason to light up a bowl that there ever was. I hardly ever see comments like "be sure to write your representative" or "make sure you get the word out."

There's a reason it's taking forever to convince the voting public at large to get on board ...

Man 2: Yeah it is. ... Wait, wasn't there something we were supposed to do today?

Man 1: Yeah, but I forgot what it was. ... Hey, you got anything to eat around here?

Sorry if I seem thick, but what is so special about 4/20?
I kinda figured it has to do with weed, but what is it exactly?

Initially, I believe it began as a group of high school Americans that, after school, went to a particular place at a particular time (4:20) to smoke weed, which drew it out into a counterculture and is popular among Americans today.

I have never been too bothered with the details, feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

I googled "4 20 meaning" and found THIS WIKIPEDIA ARTICLE.

So basically, 4:20 is about a lot of youngsters smoking some weed.

One thing to definitely remember on 4/20. It sure as fuck ain't a get out of jail free card.

Really? I don't know a single person who is under the impression that weed is legal. As far as I know, they all know what they're doing and that they're breaking the law, they're just bad at being discrete about it, and that's how they get caught.

These comments are reminding me too much of my old flatmate who used to smoke weed out of an Indian Pipe on a couch outside by the street in broad daylight. He didn't have a very good concept of the word discreet.

I do believe that weed should be legal though. I don't see why it isn't.

Because a bunch of misinformed idiots and religious jackasses think it's a bad thing.
