Well, my cat, being 16 years old, died today of liver failure. I just got finished burying her. I hope I dug it deep enough to keep other animals out of it.:(

Place a solid plastic or iron plate over her, the other animals will keep out.
And my condolences.

I am so sorry to hear of this. I hope fond memories of all the years of her companionship will sustain you while you deal with this loss.

Haha. She loved little animals, her and my pet rat were bestest friends forever. I buried her next to him.

And thanks to everybody sending their condolences...I honestly didn't expect that; in the South when animals die it's almost like it doesn't matter at all, so really, thank you all.

When I had to put my dog down, the vet office sent us a card with this poem in it. It still makes me tear up but it really is a nice poem.
