hi from the dead poet:)
Hi folks
When I'm feeling Goth, I tend to be kind of a bubblegum Goth, not into extreme darkness but the more deep gray shades of life and undeath. 1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job) Nurr... I write sf, fantasy and some horror (I'm not as good at the latter, sadly, but in the other genres my tone ranges from very goofy to rather dark) 2. Where are you from? Worcester 3. Who is your favorite author? Greg Bear/JRR Tolkien/John Steinbeck/HG Wells 4. What are your favorite films? The Hours/The Ring (but not its original Japanese version)/Moulan Rouge 5. What music do you want played at your wedding? we had a cross between something silly and Celtic and some Spanish composition 6. At your funeral? Hm... "Wake Me Up Inside" by Evanescence, or "Winter" by Tori Amos 7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die? what... I can't live forever? Oh well... I think what I'd really be interested by is the supposed "Torture of a Thousand and One Days" from the Chinese... they tie you upright and take off bits of you every day but keeping you hydrated and all so you're alive as long as possible. It must be quite an occurrance! Though to make it complete, my love would need to try and rescue me -- yeah that'd be good, nice and dramatic. 8. What kind of casket would you want? Hm, I've read the ancient Celts didn't use one... 9. What's your FAVORITE outfit? a shirt with flowy sleeves; I have a red one and a dark greenish one with flowers... and either black shorts or black pants, dangly gold/green earrings and bracelets 10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid? running around in the woods with my dad 11. What's your favorite band? it ranges from Evanescence to Indigo Girls 12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major? BA in sociology of health 13. Why did you join? There's a part of me that's just too dark to ignore anymore... 14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender? female |
You seem OK.
FYI the film is Moulin Rouge and the song is "Bring Me To Life" Just sayin'. I got mixed up when writing my own intro too so don't feel too bad about it. |
First Indigo Girls reference I've seen in a while. Nothing wrong with that at all. Nice range of authors.
Welcome to this place. I look forward to your contributions. |
