The Gadget Thread
OK, I searched and did not find one like this, so I'll go first:
HCT EVO: http://now.sprint.com/firsts/evo4g/ Anyone access Gothic.net on an HCT EVO yet? I am very serious about buying one today but want to be sure I can access Gnet on it. It looks like it already supports Facebook, but what about MySpaz, Gnet, etc? I am going with this choice because I already have Sprint service. Anyone have any complaints about it? About the phone itself, not the service. I know Sprint Customer Service sucks, but I stay with Sprint because I travel for business and they cover everywhere I go from Alaska to the Caribbean and everything in between. I have never paid roaming charges no matter where in the 35 states I have flown to that I have called from. So yeah, Gnet on EVO? |
It looks and sounds very cool, but we're on Verizon

no. *blushes* I thought you meant the car. I don't know guano about phones ;)

Go Go Expected Irony!
Um, I don't have my EVO yet (going to jump ship from Verizon to Sprint as soon as I can afford the $299 phone price. (Yes, I know it's $199 after rebate, but you have to wait about 8 weeks to get that $100 back.) Anyway, I can access Gnet on any of the browsers on my currnent PDA, and you certainly will be able to access this website (and MySpaz) on any browser you run on the EVO. Take that from a guy who spent more than 3 years dispensing tech support advice from a VZW call center, and who has been hacking and tweaking his own PDA's since 2002. And HEY! Isn't that EVO just the most stunningly exciting phone you've ever seen?!? |
