Laibach - Volk
 

Alright... if you haven't listened to this album, go listen to it. It's a shit load of national anthems, Laibach flavored. It's actually pretty creepy and the underlying message of the album seems to be the dangers of nationalism and how much each country is basically the same in that attitude.

I saw them live about a year ago and they played Volk songs for the first part of the gig. Volk's kind of slow and honestly, I was a bit bored. I listen to the songs occasionally at home though. The Russian and German songs are probably my favourites.

The mainstage roof collapsed at that festival and the second stage was in a building too small for the amount of people there. Laibach played twice in a row so everyone could get in, I thought that was pretty cool of them.
