Guys, I invented a new fantasy genre
It's called Punkpunk. The atmosphere is all late 70's and early 80's-esque (brick buildings, corner stores, yellow taxis, pay phone booths) and everyone wears leather jackets with buttons and patches and jeans and ripped up t-shirts that they've written stuff on and tend to have crazy colored/styled hair. Weapons all look roughly like, or are entirely, instruments and tube amplifiers. Where Steampunk has it's goggles and top hats, Punkpunk has it's aviator sunglasses and mohawks.
I think I'm on to something here, guys. Soon there will be many Punkpunk themed d20 games and internet forums where Punkpunk enthusiasts can go to post pictures of their Punkpunk outfits. Hell, even entire conventions dedicated to Punkpunk. I'm working on my Punkpunk d20 character. He's got a Rickenbacker bass guitar with chains on it as well as the feat Gary Gilmore's Eyes, which adds 1d6 damage to all successful attacks. What do you guys think? |
Yeah...don't quit your day job.

Shit, are you fucking serious? I thought I was cool. I had no idea.

I thought it was cool too. It gave me a chuckle.

Actually this is the one of the funnier threads on here. Of course I don't get most of the references, sooooo....

I was into punkpunk before it was popular. The rest of you are posers!
