Gothic Death Metal Love song

So I've been trying to find a good dark song for my mistress and I for the past few weeks and I'm having trouble finding the perfect dark love song to be "our song." Would anyone happen to have any suggestions?

Mandarinz 12-10-2010 07:56 PM

Surely "our song" isn't something you try and find, it just happens naturally?

Legion of Edgar Allan Poe 12-10-2010 08:04 PM

too true. its just that all i kno is H.I.M. and they usually only direct theirs towards the woman, not the couple.

Legion of Edgar Allan Poe 12-10-2010 08:06 PM

im looking for a song by a band tho. i could just write a song rite now, but im not cuz i dont have a band to perform it for her....

Mandarinz 12-10-2010 08:09 PM

Yeah, I was thinking HIM, but you're right, it's not couple music. Although 'Arms of Rain' and 'The Foreboding Sense of Impending Happiness' aren't deirected at only girls.

Ooo, what about 'We Own the Night' by The 69 Eyes?

Legion of Edgar Allan Poe 12-10-2010 08:30 PM

not bad. I was thinkin about Demolition Lovers by My Chemical Romance but the song changes close to the end :P

Mandarinz 12-10-2010 08:34 PM

I don't know any MCR, but if you think so :)
Now that I think about it, there really aren't many Gothic/Death/Black/Metal songs for couples are there??

Legion of Edgar Allan Poe 12-10-2010 09:49 PM

not reall but there are more than likele a few out there somewhere. like there are few original norwegian death metal bands and justn so happens that i found some. but with songs, im hoping...
MCR is good music tho :)

Listen to music together, this isn't something you can force, it is an organic process that unfolds like an iris in the early summer.

The words "Gothic Death Metal Love Song" being used in that manner in one sentence, just caused the death of about three thousand kittens worldwide.

You should be ashamed. Well, wait, nah. You're clearly an idiot.

Is there even such a thing as a "Death-metal Love-song"? I figured it would be oxymoronic like a "Christian Black-metal band". Unless this love includes chainsaws... hmmm....

PortraitOfSanity 12-11-2010 01:42 PM

There is actually Christian Black Metal, but they call it "un-Black Metal"...

But yea, kind of an oxymoron.

cannibalnuns 12-11-2010 02:38 PM

This one is my personal favorite.

ok let me make it clearer: Dark Love songs. Like H.I.M. but for both people. trust me, im not all about love metal. I'm an all-around metal person. Live and die for the sake of metal and Mr. Poe, the master of the gothic poetry elements.

Legion of Edgar Allan Poe 12-11-2010 05:01 PM

Rod Steward is pretty good but he's not what I'm looking for. He's not dark love.

It's called WHITE METAL (Christian Black Metal)

cannibalnuns 12-11-2010 05:14 PM

The darkest of love. He is Rod Stewart. He sold his soul to make music when he has passed his prime. It does not get that much darker.

Hydrodyssodia 12-11-2010 08:48 PM

I'm pretty sure both Un-black Metal and White Metal are used.
I feel that by principle only songs by bands that combine gothic metal and death metal should be suggested. If not, Lovesong by The Cure kicks then shades of ass, I probably would've already used it if I weren't the awful asocial monster that I am.

cannibalnuns 12-11-2010 09:55 PM

Rod stewart.

Well... Mostly anything by Type O Negative will do. Try "I know you're fucking someone else", for instance.

It's called both. White Metal is the even more retarded term.

Maybe you could pick a band that doesn't sing in Englsih, and pretend they're singing romantic things? I find Eluveitie songs to be incredibly romantic, but I have no idea what they're about.

How about "Can you imagine words" by Dope Stars Inc?

ok, let's try to give some really nice suggestions.... Errrrrrr....

Type O Negative - Pyretta Blaze / Black Number One
Paradise Lost - Enchantment

PortraitOfSanity 12-13-2010 03:38 PM

Death Metal. Difficult to masturbate to, not impossible...

Also, yea, anything Paradise Lost is pretty hardcore win.
