It Seems As Though I've Stumbled Upon Here . . . Greetings!

Ah, might I say that it is a pleasure. (:
I go by Arachnid, and I believe that my age doesn't quite hold any significance (because when it comes to meeting others, it's the maturity that matters), but lets just say that I am going through what you would call adolescence, and experiencing the horrors of growing up.
Oddly enough, I'm actually a quite optimistic and bubbly individual, or at least most of the times (and not in an annoyingly way, might I add - I'm just being happy). I can be a hopeless romantic at times, and there's nothing that I love more than to talk and just hang about with people. I love to make others happy, and I do my best to enlighten spirits. Though there are times I become rather cynical and withdrawn - well, I am human.
My hobbies include writing (especially poems and letters), sketching, going for walks, and being with other people. When it comes to interests, I'm fascinated by psychology, and how the mind works. I also enjoy listening to a large variety of music: from dark wave and gothic rock, to rap, to metal, to pop, classic rock . . . I'm in no way picky of my music preferences. Well, maybe except for country. I enjoy reading other people's poetry, and collecting quotes. Hmm, there's a lot that I like . . .
And I joined this site simply so that I may make friends and talk to those who share the similar interests that I have, and since there really aren't any quite like me where I reside.

And I hope I did this introduction well enough. First impressions are always important, or so they say. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
It's lovely being here. (:

100% agree with you there, just being an adolescent is hard because your mind is newly developed and your mind changes more rapidly that people just dont understand.

welcome to Gnet!

welcome to Gnet!

It's weird how tastes and morals change I was listening to some dicken's novel on the radio and some 50 year old friend of the family wanted to marry the 18 yr old daughter now that she was "of age" and he said "I've always loved you. Ever since I met you [five years ago!!]"
That can't be right though. But he had dollar and was "respectable". Today he'd already be on the sex offenders list lmao
