Hello my little gothlings : )

Hello Gothlings : )

I recently found out that avoiding the sun / wearing sunscreens could cause one to become vitamin D3 deficient.

Though there may be no symptoms at all, it may lead to complications down the road.

Just wanted to inform those who avoid the sun to take a vitamin D3 supplement daily.

This is just part of maintaining a beautiful and healthy body!

Have a good day!

Lots of love,
Leesah

Are you a spambot trying to lead us to buy Vitamin D supplements?

Anyway, most people in the US and Canada are D deficient, not just the heliophobes.

I blame the rise of technology, nerds are taking over the world. We just haven't caught on yet.

Also, to the OP, fuck you, I belong to no one, except maybe those who have earned that right or people I have sold the rights to my body to. You know what, I belong to everyone. Except you.

Hello Saya : )

No, I am not a peddler of goods. I am also only a person.

I bring you this message in good faith.

I was only speaking from experience.. so do with it what you will..

Lots of love,

Why would you avoid the sun anyway? It rocks.

Solumina 04-08-2011 12:31 AM

Today was so nice and sunny. I hated that I had to work but I did manage to find a few excuses to get outside for a but and enjoy the lovely weather.

I avoid the sun to keep from getting blistery, painful burns on my skin.... and it makes my freckles darker... *spotted*

Sunlight is free.... Oh well, looking veiny is all the rage, last decade.

Still Jack 04-09-2011 06:01 AM

Just go get hammered in a park when it's sunny. Problem solved...

There is a plan. I like the idea.

DoubleK 04-12-2011 11:15 AM

Would it kill you guys to get a bit of a tan?

Solumina 04-12-2011 03:32 PM

Apparently yes, I spent a few hours outside yesterday while wearing sunscreen and have turned a lovely shade of pink on my face, shoulders, chest, and upper back, the parts of me that didn't burn (like my arms) are the exact same color that they were at the start of the day. I guess I'll have to trade in the SPF 15 for 35.

Don't feel bad, I got a ridiculous burn last summer. I changed my shirt to a lower neck shirt and didn't think to reapply sunscreen, so my tits were burned and no other part of me.

Murder.Of.Crows 04-12-2011 06:57 PM

I always get ridiculous burns, no matter the amounts of sunblock I use.

The sun has failed me. You're still posting.

Solumina 04-13-2011 02:14 PM

Aww what's wrong, don't you love me anymore?

DoubleK 04-13-2011 02:16 PM

Me: Sun. It's one of those vampires. Burn it like the rest!

Sun: Actually, that's Solumnia. She's a person.

Me: ...Burn it like the rest...

Solumina 04-13-2011 02:29 PM

Awww but I like the sun, we usually get along fantastically I just have to remember to wear the proper protection.

DoubleK 04-13-2011 02:40 PM

-_- You're not getting the joke. You're making me cross with you.

Solumina 04-13-2011 02:45 PM

Sorry, I'm a bit sleep deprived, I haven't been picking up on a lot today. I haven't been sleeping terribly well lately so last night I decided to try a sleep aid and it was by far the worst night's sleep that I can remember ever having.

DoubleK 04-13-2011 02:51 PM

Go play in the sun then.

Solumina 04-13-2011 02:53 PM

I wish I could but it's really overcast here.
