I failed to mention this. It's really funny.
 

So I'm on the 6 train and the conductor is talking to the passengers. He's reminding them that soliciting money in the subway is illegal and that anyone doing it should be reported to the police. In other words, report the homeless to the police.

Anyway, this guy REALLY starts to get into explaining this law and what you should do. He goes on and on about how it's illegal to give money to those that ask for it in the subway and when he finishes talking he says and I quote:

"...soliciting money in the subway is against the law. So remember folks, don't give money to the poor!"

Shut the front door!

That shit is flippin' looney!

Never provide for the ones who aren't provided for!

Eh. I think the not giving money to the poor was supposed to tickle your balls but that's just my thoughts.

No, I know there's an element of funny to it. I'm just not finding much humor or satisfaction in making fun of the increasing lack of compassion and empathy in our society today. I'm sure it's just a personal problem.
