Nick Cave

I just recently in the last couple of years got into Nick Cave, and his various musical projects. Does anyone else think this man can create amazing music? Although Nocturama is really disappointing, i still find all his LPs, and Side Projects(e.g. Grinderman, The Birthday Party, Bad Seeds.) to be brilliant.

also another reason i got into him was his brilliant cameo in Wim Wender's Wings of Desire, which i saw acouple of years ago with a friend who'd thought i enjoy the film since i enjoyed Wim Wender's earlier film, Paris, Tx.

Nick Cave is pretty amazing. He's got a fantastic ability to make any music creepy, and creepy music even more creepy. His books are very interesting as well.

Nick Cave - fuck yeah.

Abattoir Blues is my favorite.

The Birthday Party and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds are both awesome projects. I used to listen to him way more than I do now. I guess I sort of forgot about him. Thanks for reminding me.

Watch The Proposition. You'll thank me later.

I didn't really care for Grinderman. I feel like his best work was in The Bad Seeds.

Now that I think of it, I listen to 'Red Right Hand' and 'Stagger Lee' almost every day. For years.

huh.

I totally love this guy. I could listen to "Murder Ballads" on repeat for a month and still not be tired of it. I like his latest solo album as well, but I do prefer the old stuff. I think my favourite song must be The Ship Song though, I haven't been able to get that one out of my head ever since I first heard it. Actually, Nick Cave was one of the first artists that got me interested in goth in the first place, so there are a lot of memories attached to his music for me, for my baby bat days. (Iiih, cute...! xD)
